I had seen the good reviews about this vacuum and finally ordered it when we moved: our new house had a mix of thick carpet, linoleum, and wood floors and my old vacuum wasn't going to cut it.Best of all – it's really pretty quiet! It seriously feels like a toy since it's such a fun little hard worker. Yes, some things could be better. The cord wrap is a bit awkward. The hook that keeps the cord off the ground is too wide and the cord falls out. But those are minor pains compared to how awesome this vacuum is. One warning: the first time I tried to remove the canister to empty it I did manage to empty the canister all over the floor. Whoops! Good thing my awesome vacuum could clean it all up again!samiha.i

I have had this vacuum for 15 years, suction is great and never had to replace any filters. I just wash them out once every 2 -3 months, even wash out the canister, the only thing I have done to this vacuum is repeatedly cut hair off the rollers since everyone in my household has long hair except me. I finally am going to purchase new sponge and HEPA filters, the old filters are getting a little rough. This vacuum still works great and we still keep using. Totally worth the price. Plan on keeping this vacuum. I am getting ready to purchase the newer SharkNinja with Duo Cleaning to keep the hair from twisting around the brushes. love my Shark vacuumscsvette

I’ve used MANY vacuums in my life. I’ve used Eureka, Kirby, Bissell, Oreck, Hoover, and several others. This is by far the BEST vacuum. The attachments make sense and are very practical. The vacuum pulls lots of dirt out of the carpet that other vacuums cannot do. I vacuumed my carpet with a Bissell. Afterwards, I vacuumed again with my Shark, the Shark continued to pull lots of dust out of the carpet. I am amazed at the quality. Considering the quality, the price is good!kasi.s

I’ve spent several hours of research, this is the Best Bang for the Buck. Do yourself a favor, buy it!!! Read the reviews later. I had not “vaccumed” my stairs in over 3 months as my DYSON DC33 died after several years. I did many hours of research and the Shark brands would be up there with Dyson in most comparisons. I was considering the Dyson Animal but it wouldn’t be less than $500, now Dyson is actual on sale for $350. Prior to writing this review after thorough research and also comparing the Shark Apex Duo Clean, I ended up with this one for $229, I was about to buy it for $279 and it won’t on sale next week. Anyhow just see how much dirt it picked up from the stair case. I only did about 7 of them and my dust-bin is super filthy. Although it might not me a fair comparison with the Dyson DC33 (that died) I’m certain it never sucked like this. This is the most powerful vaccum I have ever experienced. Now let’s talk about build quality, the accessories definitely feel inferior in contrast to a Dyson, so I don’t know about the longevity of this. I also did notice lot of reviewers complained about the pole or the main handle that goes behind the vaccum, that also is hollow and feels like it won’t last too long, but it works great I couldn’t be happier. In all honesty you do not need to spend $400-500. Some reviews say the Apex Duo Clean with 2 roller brushes doesn’t pick up as well as this. I have been a shark customer for a very long time. I have the power lift-away from years ago and the things runs like a champ. However, I saw this one and thought WOW no more cutting the dog hair from the wheel and an XL cup will save me so..much..time! I would say overall it's definitely a good vacuum BUT I miss features from my other one that make me sad when I pull this one out of the closet. I do still have the other so I can use both. Pros: Lightweight- for a large vacuum, this is very easy to lift XL Cup- definitely helps when you have 2 very large furry dogs Long Hose-ish- long but doesn't reach like it states Super Sucker- I did think the suction was very good on getting up massive amounts of dog hair (Border Collie/Newfoundland and Great Pyrenees/Aussie mix) Cons: No Lift-Away- Doesn't seem like that big of a deal until you are going up and down the stairs or reaching into vaulted ceilings, the canister doesn't fall over No Light- again not a HUGE deal but seeing dust bunnies run from you was easier with a light Hose- The hose states it'll reach 12' making stairs easy but let me tell you, it does not even come close. Like mentioned above, once you get hose fully extended you need something to weigh it down so it doesn't fall over from over extension Accessories- My liftaway had a ton of accessories for options i.e. stair brushroll, and a few others but let's stick with that one. For a machine that claims it's turbo power for pets to not provide a stair brushroll seems silly, I have tried to rig my old one to fit my new machine and it works just ok, I end up using my old vacuum to do the stairs ugh. Self Cleaning Brushroll- seems ok for now but still have hair wrapped around it that i'm sure I'll have to cut off. Overall: I like the vacuum, esthetically it's really good looking (because you know that's important) It seems to do a good job as needed, I wish it was a clone of my liftaway with "newer" features but it's not.WCoates

Got this to replace a 15+ year old upright, and I am shocked at how much technology has improved! This is a fraction of the weight, quieter, stronger, more maneuverable, and easier to clean out. The old one had the yellow plastic filter tucked up inside the machine where it was a serious pain to blindly get back in place. I love the ability to vary suction power both on the vacuum and the attachment. (I love the two-in-one attachment.) I gave our place a much-needed vacuuming and was horrified/quite pleased with the amount of awfulness this bad boy cleaned up. After the first time I used this, there was a lot of hair wrapped around the brush. I was initially concerned, but then I decided to trust the instructions (and test the product) and waited until after using it some more to see if it cleaned itself. And it did! I was happy to see the claim fulfilled in at least that one instance.Sherwood

The extension hose is hardly long enough. The attachment to get under furniture has no maneuverability to the point you need to get down on your hands and knees to use it. The latch on the base to change the angle is made of plastic and needs to be pushed several times to work… it's a matter of time before it breaks. And this is standard to all models. I was unable to release it with my foot and had to bend over and use my hand to adjust the vacuum. To use the wand, you need to disconnect the hose from the electrical cable. The brush attached to the wand makes the wand/hose heavier than it should be to use.Unsatisfied customer

I like the tools that come with this vacuum. There is a detail tool, dusting tool, and a tool for stairs with a rotating brush that picks up everything. It's so easy to switch out the tools and clean faster. The handle bar stretches far so I was able to use the detail tool to get spider webs from the ceiling and the duster tool to reach and clean the vents up high. You really have to clean your vents. I also used the detail tool to get on top of my door frames and the corners of rooms and stairs. Then I popped on the stair tool and finished the stairs. It made cleaning very fast and easy. This vacuum also has a spinning brush for carpets that is great because it helps pick up stuff deep down in the carpet. You can turn it off when on bare floors. It is amazing at picking up pet hair. It took no effort collecting a bunch of hair from my stairs and carpet. The only downside I can think of is that it is heavier than my last vacuum which makes carrying it upstairs harder but that's all. This is one of those purchases where you will be astounded by the performance compared to your initial expectations. As soon as removed the vacuum from the box, my expectations started to sink into my stomach a bit. The vacuum was light, and I thought to myself, "oh no, another cheap piece of plastic". Assembly though, was simple and easy. No tools required, which is great! As simple as plug and play. Within minutes, I was ready to test drive. Again, at first glance, you are definitely thinking this is a cheap, plastic vacuum. It even feels kind of cheap as you turn the selector to the appropriate height of your carpet. But through a couple of uses, i noticed this, with the handle in the upright positions, the selector moves quite freely, giving that cheap feeling, but with the handle down in the position ready to use, the knob now has the tension of vacuum's adjustment positions. You can select Hard, Low, Medium, and High. This took me a few uses to get use to, and it will you as well, because the performance depends on having this adjusted correctly. I found that too low, and the vacuum was dragging across the carpet, which made it feel heavy to push. But too high, and you were not getting that deep down clean that you want. So I highly suggest giving a few turns on different positions to see what works best for you. With that being said though, once you plug this vacuum in and turn it on, you will know why it is called the Pet Max. The powerful engine soon made up for those sinking expectations. After a few rows of vacuuming, and adjusting the height, I started to see a major difference in the performance of this vacuum compared to my higher end vacuum. The brush is amazing, it pulls from deep in the carpets to extract pesky pet hair. I was amazed, and appalled at the pet hair it was starting to collect in the container. Which by the way, is a blessing. My wife and I have 4 fur babies, dogs to be exact. And they range from short hair to long hair. And all the rooms that have carpet in them, we would have to empty the container after every room. The pet max comes with a large debris container, and the powerful engine delivers cyclonic action no matter how full it gets! That is literally the best part about the vacuum. No matter how full the container got, the performance did not lessen at all! I was very pleased with this purchase. And I almost forgot, the vacuum comes with two hepa filters!!!!! For a long time I was considering returning this vacuum. The only reason I haven't is because it works well enough and I don't have the time to go vacuum hunting. It's an okay vacuum but it is literally just okay. The suction is good but after a little while the vacuum becomes hard to push. It does pick up a lot of dirt, dust and hair though. The hose suction is terrible and practically nonexistent. I used the hose to vacuum up a spider which, with my old vacuum, would have killed it. But this vacuum didn't kill it and it somehow escaped (I got it the next day with a shoe but really, it's that easy for them to escape??). Also the attachments will not stay on the vacuum AT ALL so I have to keep them in a bag. The cord is long, but too long. Even if you leave it wound, it often falls off the hooks while vacuuming and gets in the way.JustAGirlFromSomeplace

This vacuum was purchased by my household less about 10 months ago and it's already broken. I have used it almost daily, so it's gotten a lot of use. Worked great at first, but had to replace belts at least once a month because they kept breaking. I was using the vacuum at the correct setting for carpet height, however it kept switching to bare floor mode by itself. I wasn't sure how that was happening. Also, the top part of the handle cracked in half, which I believe is due to design flaw. When you are pushing the vacuum, this seemed to be the point that would bear the most weight and it's the thinnest part of the handle. It's good if you are in need of a vacuum on a budget, but don't expect it to last long.kristywink

Seriously, this thing is epic. Still mostly plastic on the exteripr, but, unlike cheaper vacuums, this has a but of quality and detail to it. The quality of plastics is higher, the quality of molds and designing are better too. This thing is no louder than any other vacuum I have ever owned, with the brush ruler off. But, turn that on (it can be disengaged on the fly with a foot pedal fit quick switching between carpet and hardwood floors – nice), and it is rather loud. You definitely know those brushes are spinning. I am fine with that, but some may be snowflakes about noise (or have sleeping babies – I understand not wanting THIS vacuum if you have a baby and relish a little nap time). If you aren't whisper-thirsty… THIS Vacuum will suck the ghosts out of a haunted carpet. I literally only have two rooms with carpet and a hallway, yet this sucker nearly filled its canister on the FIRST use! Seriously, I pulled up enough dirt, dust, sand dander, and dog fur that I ended up with about two pounds of filth to dump once I was done (and I only vacuumed the master bedroom and hall!!!). If you can get this vacuum for……. under $150, grab it! Easy to assemble, easy to use, very sturdy, very VERY well made for the price I bought mine at, and DOES A DAMN GOOD JOB. Honestly haven’t had any major complaints about the vacuum. We do have kids so we use it probably every other day to 2 days. It’s a compact vacuum which is a plus. The one tiniest complaint I’d have is after going back and forth a couple times there are some items that you would think the vacuum would pick up, but doesn’t. Instead, I use the detachable wand for those odd pieces. I should clarify, the vacuum has picked up 99% of what is seen on the carpet. It’s just those random odd stragglers and it doesn’t happen every time. As for our tiles, I just use the wand to pick up anything necessary then jet swift it but that’s a different product.GL

To start off I would have to say that the Dirt Devil Endura Max Upright vacuum is a high quality performing product. There is very great suction when it comes to pet hair and even popcorn in the carpet that my child had spilled. The spinning brush is adjustable to many settings. Such as bare floor to higher profile carpet. It does a great job of pulling dirt and hair out of my medium profile carpet. It isn't to heavy so when I use the extended hose handle I can carry it from place to place. One thing in was not a fan of was the multi dusting piece. It was a little to bulky to fit into my window seal to get that dirt out. The smaller end was also not long and thin enough to fit into my dryer vent. The dusting piece also added extra unnecessary bulk. It is a nice concept but it isn't as great as the individual pieces. Other than my opinion on the duster, I really enjoy and love my Dirt Devil Endura Max Upright vacuum. If you are contemplating this purchase, I recommend you try this product. Other than marrying my ex husband, buying this vacuum was the worst decision of my life. It is bulky and cheap plastic. Extremely loud and makes my arm go numb from all of the vibration! It has a "hardwood" setting but the brush still spins in that setting, which can scratch the hardwood. I was excited about the pet brush attachment, but is doesn't really work since the attachment will NOT stay on the hose or in the attachment holder, for that matter. It does not have much suction, I feel running a lint brush over the carpet would pick up more! I won't even give this vaccum away because I wouldn't want anyone to hate me!BBB Customer

I bought this 6 months ago and tried to get used to it, but don’t like it at all. It is hard to push. I have it on the max setting and still harder to push on normal carpet. The attachments often fall off when in normal use. I had heard great things about simplicity, however, they had an older model. This newer one doesn’t compare. Unfortunately, iI am very unhappy with the user friendly aspect of it. I would not recommend.Jill

I have had this vacuum for about a year. I bought it because of the dog hair I contend with on a daily basis. It does an amazing job and the fact that it has a bag is a big plus. I always thought bagless was the way to go because of convenience, but this unit proves that thought was completely wrong. You won't be sorry if you buy this vacuum. Suction seems good but I have had this vacuum a week and it's driving me crazy bc I can't get the wand to stay in it's holder while I'm vacuuming .. if I bend to go under a desk or table the wand will fall out .. sure seems like this is a poor design… Why can't the wand fit more snug in it's holder so it doesn't fall out every 5 seconds? How much suction is it losing bc the fitting is soooo loose?? Surely I'm not the first person to have this issue?! Wish I could return this. 🙁PamC

I believe and after my experience with this LG CordZero, I found that this LG provides me with a lot of conveniences; it is an all-in-one vacuuming solution, lightweight, and truly cordless since the tower serves as a storage, charger, and self-emptying whenever the vacuum is docked. it has powerful suction and looks modern and stylish. The LG tower has two doors that serve as storage areas to store different attachments in each door compartment. In addition, The tower top is accessible it has a lid that can open up, and inside that small compartment, there is a charging station as well as a storage area for the second battery located underneath the top lid of the tower. This means there is always a spare charged battery that is always ready to use if needed. This top lid is a touch display where all touch control buttons are located such as auto mode, battery life, and dust emptying. Auto mode activates the self-emptying every time the vacuum sits back on the tower. By turning off the auto mode, self-emptying can be activated manually. The middle area when both doors are open is the house of the dust bag. This is more of a vacuum station than just a regular old vacuum. It's a bit pricey but it's still a great vacuum for your home. This is your typical stick vac with a auto-emptying hub. It's quite nice in that you can empty the vacuum manually however, the base station had a feature where you can auto-empty it whenever you dock the vacuum. The base station itself looks good and looks refined. It's not just some gaudy tower that you shove in a corner and have it looking like an eye sore. With the different color options, you could color coordinate it with your decor if you wanted to so that it's stands out less. the footprint of the base station is pretty small so you can store it anywhere really without it getting in the way. Included with the vacuum are your usual attachments like a crevice tool as well as a floor scrubber which is nice. It doesn't vacuum up the liquid so it's really just a scrubber. There is a separate head attachment for the scrubber as well as some extra velcro pads to use on the scrubbing head. The attachments store inside the base station except the scrubbing head which attaches to the side. This also comes with an extra bag and filter for the vacuum. Another nice feature is the extra battery. You store/charge the battery in the top of the unit so if you need to vacuum the whole place, you won't have to worry about running out of power midway through. This works ok for cleaning out your automobile too since it's portable however it's a tab bulky to get into some corners. Last feature is the compressor. With practically all these bagless vacuums, the center filter eventually gets clogged with debris so you need to disassemble the unit and clean that out properly to ensure proper suction. There is a lever on the bin that moves up and down on the compressor which allows you to scrape off a good chunk of debris on the interior filter without needing to disassemble it which I found to be quite beneficial. You'll still need to disassemble the unit for proper maintenance however, with this cleaner, you can do it far less. Only real knock to the is the price tag. It is expensive for a vacuum and you could easily find a stick vac or even a larger corded vacuum for much cheaper. I have recently gotten the LG Electronics CordZero Vaccuum and love so many things about this handy device! The vacuum came with so many assorted attachments including one for pet hair and a mopping attachment. It also came with an extra battery which I love! The run time on one battery is a little over an hour if I keep it in auto mode and don't switch to Turbo. I love having that extra battery on hand and charged up the Tower when I need it. One unique feature about the CordZero is that it's handy base recharges it, stores the extra parts, battery and attachments as well as has an Auto Empty feature for cleaning out the debris from the vacuum dust bin! I love that is takes one more clean up step out of my normal routine! The tower is makes keeping all of the extra things that can be used with the vacuum so nice and tidy and in one spot for easy access. The vacuum is lightweight and the main attachment is easy to get around and under furniture. I like that the main attachment head is a bit smaller than some of the others I've seen as it can really get into tight spaces and under chairs. I love that when I turn it on, I don't have to keep holding down on a button to keep the suction going as I've had to do on vacuums I've had in the past. It does seamlessly from my hardwood to my tile to my carpet rugs and has a great Turbo mode that can be turned on for those places I worry have extra hard to reach dirt. The CordZero even has ap app that you can connect to that will show you run times. extra info on the troubleshooting and battery life. I think one of the super exciting things about the CordZero is that it has a mop attachment. Although this feature didn't live up to my expectations, I'll thrilled of the idea of a vacuum/mop combo! The mop attachment has a place to put in water and it has little round pads that velcro on to the vacuum and spin around once you start it up. You can control the amount of water that comes out (it has a low to high setting) but the problem I had was that I didn't think it really "mopped" my floor. There was moisture but it can't be used with soap or cleaner of any kind and I just don't feel like my floor are properly "mopped " with just a slight layer of water. I used the microfiber mop heads for about 15 minutes on my tile while I was trying out the mopping feature and once done, the mop heads were already frazzled and looked to be coming undone. I love the IDEA of the mop combo, but in my ideal world, it would have been able to be used with a cleaner to really get it good and clean and I would have more function in the amount of water that comes out ( I couldn't tell much difference in the low or high adjustments on the mop attachment). Also, the suction is turned off when you use the mop attachment and I would love to see a function added to be able to use the mop with water and cleaner and then have it sucked back up or go back over the water with a drying function. Again, I love the idea, but feel like the mop attachment could have some improvement to make it a 5 star product. I do like that the mop attachment has a little blue light that shines to help show you where the water is on the floor. Overall, I am thrilled with the uniqueness and creativity that this LG CordZero Vacuum brings to my home. The tower with it's multitude of functions is a real game changer in my book!hjh2c

I am absolutely in love with this vacuum from its impeccable features and cleaning. From unboxing to setting up was a breeze, had it running in all of 5 minutes. It feels like a heavier vacuum (but that to me feels like quality) it doesn't make it hard to push or maneuver, it has an adjustable suction control right by the handle if you feel it's hard to push you can adjust that. The swiveling vacuum head is amazing and comes in so very handy. It has a very large dirt cup, I can vacuum 4 rooms before needing to empty, maybe more I haven't tried that yet. Emptying the dirt cup is so easy just hold it over the trash can and tap the release button and va-la that's a wrap. Both filters are so easy to clean too the pre motor filter you just take the sponge part off rinse out with water let it dry for 24 hours and put it back on and it's that easy. The exhaust filter you just remove and tap it on the in side of your trash can until you see no more dust and that's a wrap, both very simple to clean. I love the push button start button right at your hands, very convenient and the push button brush roll, so you can turn the roller brush off if you want to sweep a bare or hard wood floor, or a floor with say little scatter, it makes it such a breeze. I absolutely love that the attachments go on the handle, there's a handle release and they just pop on there and you can get up high with such a breeze, and down low. You get a crevice tool a dusting brush and a pet upholstery tool, all you'll ever need, & they all attach on board this vacuum and stay without moving around or falling off. So I have attached three photos and had 2 videos I wanted to add but I guess it doesn't work the way I thought with the videos (darn it). I think everyone should own this vacuum I know you won't be disappointed between the impeccable features and impeccable cleaning it's a definite WIN-WIN!!! It also has an extra long cord that lets you cover a lot of floor and rooms at once. This vacuum I amazing and I own 5 cats and have allergies, and no dust blew around out of the vacuum like most do, it didn't bother my allergies a bit. I am using this vacuum for the last three weeks and really impressed with its versatility and suction power. Apart from the common features, the sealed allergen system with a true HEPA filter is an uncommon and one of the best feature of this pet vacuum. Pros: Very good Suction power – Excellent suction power even with thick carpets. The power is too strong such that most of the time there is no need to clean the brush roll, every dust and hair will be sucked into the dirt cup. Versatility – It comes with three extra accessories and multi floor compatible brush roller. The rubber like strips on the upholstery tool is works very well in removing pet hair. Swell steering helps to clean corners of floor. The long wand and extendable hose helps to reach every nook and corners of the roof and under the furniture. Sealed allergen system – Usually there were only one washable filter in normal vacuum cleaners which is not enough to filter out micro dust and odor which leaves a suffocating environment after vacuum. But this vacuum cleaner have a normal washable filter and an exhaust filter which is a real HEPA filter with odor absorbing element. This leaves the room fresh after vacuum. Cons: Loud – This vacuum is a bit louder than other comparable vacuums. Lot of attachment/detachment points – The presence of two filters, removable wand and different tools leaves a lot of attachment points in the vacuum cleaner which may affect the efficiency of sealed allergen system.Butler

This Sirena has been a lemon since I purchased it and Sirena support and the repair department has been degrading and lets say their repair services minimal.
Thirty days after buying this reconditioned machine which I was reassured was certified and in good condition, broke the base the water goes in, then another base broke, I ordered two more and I bought two more one for backup. The new base broke in the first use. Called Sirena to be told the first time they aren’t under warranty, they sent me a new one being nice they said, which I agree was. Then when the next one broke I just bought my own, and when that one broke within first use I was mad which caused me to call them. They said I was being to rough and to loosen the screws. Then the matching wouldn’t work, I sent it in with the broken hose that had the band over the suction broke. They said it was my broken base that was the issue and I had to buy another one for them to determine if anything else was wrong with it. I had already bought another base so I said send it back. Getting it back the base was clearly broken in shipping but whatever I was so pissed with this company they didn’t fix my hose they glued the broken piece on now making it unusable on the curtains and on top of that the wheel rack is broken also and wasn’t broken when shipped to them.
On top of that they can’t tell me why my bases are breaking it’s my fault No one else has complained of this issue and maybe try running it less.
And of all wonderful things they aren’t under the BBB so I can’t even make a complaint so I lose out the money I spent because I can’t keep affording 50 dollar bases guess it’s time to go to rainbow and I will ensure I plaster it everywhere not to buy reconditioned products from this company ever.Heidi Hancock

I am beyond impressed with the Sirena vacuum. Liked the idea of a Rainbow, but not the price tag. Found this product, read up on it, and purchase from their website. Could not believe how much fresher and cleaner my house seemed with just the first use. I have 2 dogs, one being a great Pyrenees. So I have lots and lots of dog hair. My 2nd use, I did a deep clean floors, baseboards, blinds, couches and drapes. After that cleaning, I could not even believe how clean my house stayed after that all week. I have also used it as a air purifier a couple times. Definitely not a quick vacuum product. It takes some time to use, switching between the power unit for carpets, bare floor attachment, and various others. Then cleaning after use. But we'll worth the time for how fresh and clean my house is now.Lesli Ablett

I am not one to leave reviews but I feel this one is needed. I am completely unsatisfied with this product and I find it strange that the reviews on their website are only four and five stars. It seems as though they filter their reviews and only post the good ones 🤔 unfortunately their customer service sucks even more than the product. You have 30 days to return the product though they give a “satisfaction guarantee” but what they don’t tell you is you will NOT be able to contact them within those 30 days. I called the customer service phone number multiple times and continuously got voicemail, I sent messages through online chat that went unanswered and finally got in touch with them three months after my purchase to explain why I was unhappy for the ONE guy that runs the show to tell me that they have a very strict 30 day policy and “there is nothing he can do”Now about the product itself… if you are a pet home – DO NOT BUY. if you have carpet – DO NOT BUY. The carpet attachment is very difficult to attach and does a very poor job at actually vacuuming the carpet. The machine takes longer to set up than anything I’ve ever dealt with. The chore of vacuuming has become three times longer and this product is substantially more expensive then other vacuums that are more user-friendly and do a much better job of actually cleaning the carpet and floor. No matter how much solution you put in the water your air will still smell like wet dirt. The idea of a water vacuum is great but if you live on a septic system you can’t even dump it down the toilet. Cleaning the machine after use is a whole other issue, it is very difficult to clean and get all the dirt out also you have to leave it unattached so it can air out otherwise it smells terrible. It’s extremely bulky and take a lot of room to store. There are absolutely no instructions with this unit so your guess is how it supposed to be used. Unfortunately there is not one good thing I can say about this unit or it’s service from the company. I've been using this vacuum for a few weeks and I don't have a single complaint yet. I really love how it was designed. It is very sturdy, yet light enough to easily maneuver around the house and over any type of floor surface. The vacuum head swivels effortlessly and intuitively. I especially love the headlight feature which really helps with picking up things in small crevices and under furniture. I have a large long-haired dog and this vacuum picks up the hair without any issues! The battery is very compact; the charger takes up no more space than my single-serve coffee maker as shown in the photo. Charging only takes a few hours and delivers ample runtime for me to vacuum all three floors of my house. The dust/waste bin is easy to empty and clean. Also, the extra two nozzle heads come with a holder than conveniently & cleverly snaps onto the neck of the vacuum handle, so you always have what you need to get the job done! Overall, I LOVE this product. It is the best of both worlds between a clunky traditional corded vacuum and the compact but underperforming handheld vacuum.tfunny

Had this vacuum for roughly 18 to 24 months, has worked pretty flawlessly up until I dealt with the dreaded brush head issue I read others similarly having, after a search of google and Craftsman and finding zero real solutions, I DID NOT spend $200 on a "throw away and buy new" appliance, that simply isn't the United States I grew up in. Anyway, after a week of the head turning on only to shut down after 2 or 3 seconds, I started my disassembly quest by removing the head assembly and looking at the bottom, where I found a red tab with arrows pointing up. I then held said tab with one finger while prying the brush head out with a flat head screwdriver. I clean the brush head. We then see a red gear at the end with a tiny screw holding it, take your tiny phillips head scredriver and remove screw. Gear will be reluctant but wiggle it on out with small pliers or maybe flat screwdriver. THAT was where my problem lied as 18 months of tiny carpet fibers had gotten in there to cause enough friction to stop brush head. Remove the foreign matter and (optionally) apply just a drop of 3 in 1 onto the metal surface. Reverse to reassemble and you may have just saved some aggravation dealing with a silly warranty process or quite possibly some money. SBD Craftsman should be paying me for all the ambassador work I do for them as a DIY nobody, I tell ya hwut. Only problem I'm presently having is the weak "standing" mechanism when the vac isn't being used, it can stand on its own for an hour or so before it wants to lean either way and inevitably falls to the side. It is closet kept where I lean it up against the wall so it's not as big of a deal to me. But can be aggravating between breaks. Would definitely reccomend!! Just don't buy from Lowe's, shopping Amazon or Ace comes with ALOT more dignity in supporting an actual hardware store, Thank you.Kazi9

I've been using this stick vac every day for over a week and that's about 6 times more than I used my traditional corded vacuum. The convenience of not being limited by the length of a cord and wall outlet availability makes it a game changer for me. The motor is strong and cleans as well as my 110v corded vac, but with less noise. The ability to disable the brush makes cleaning tile/wood floors a completely different experience. The 3 power settings are perfectly located to cycle between with your thumb so that you don't suck up a floor mat when transitioning from wood/tile to rug/mat. The ability to detach the motor from the stick and use the brush head in a stubby fashion makes cleaning carpeted stairs unbelievably easier than my traditional stick vac. I have used the shorty to clean the couches and used the adapters to clean under the cushions. With the stick attached to the broom head I can reach under furniture much farther than my old stick vacuum, the LED lights also help find all your kids toys that were lost before sucking them up. The vacuum is very low profile and almost lays down flat so you don't have to move furniture around to clean. Very nice and time saving! The broom head pans from side to side while using the vacuum and I found this to be annoying when trying to go fast. I discovered a way to lock the head and am able to maneuver the vacuum more aggressively without the head flopping around. Craftsman should address that in future revisions of the vacuum, I could see someone making a kit as an "upgrade" and selling those… The wheels on the broom head are nice, but I've found them to be a little lacking when it comes to maneuverability. If the wheels were replaced with ball casters then you would have infinite movement in your X and Y axis and could slide the vacuum in any direction to reach around obstructions. I hope this is something that Craftsman would consider for future releases. The battery life is short lived with the included 2 Ah battery, but enough for me to complete about 1,500 sqf. With an additional battery or (4 Ah) you can accomplish more work. I found myself trying to race the battery to get the cleaning done, which opened my eyes to the swiveling head and rigid wheels. Cleaning is easy. Pull the container, push a button (over a garbage can) and empty the contents. The twisty knob agitator cleans fine particles from the filter (much better than banging it on the garbage can or your other hand). I wish there was a vacuum float gauge you could monitor to quickly determine the health of your filter. I've seen welding helmets with clear tubes filled with small plastic balls and graduations on the tube that let you see air flow. This would make replacing the filter more accurate than just throwing it away and buying a new one every 6 months. I really enjoy using this vacuum and find myself looking for reasons to use it. I love this stick vac. It's light, quiet and really does a good job. This is truly a great value. It's a great machine for an amazing price. The wall mount was easy, and the attachments are easy on/easy off. This makes vacuuming the stairs SO MUCH EASIER. Highly recommend. The head of the vacuum is a little loose (ie going in a straight line is hard, because it will turn on its own), but it's nothing that would prevent me from recommending or using this vacuum. Normally when I try out one of these light-weight battery-powered vacuums, the primary issue is power. I am happy to report that the HomeVac S11 Lite is perhaps the most powerful of these vacuums I've tried. It's even proved pretty effective at pulling stuff out of my carpet. There's a button on the top that lets you switch the suction to overdrive, and I didn't even realize it was there for days because the normal power was enough for everyday situations. The engineering of this thing is delightfully elegant. The handle is like a pistol grip, very easy to control, and by rotating the handle I can maneuver the vacuum head easily around chair and table legs. It comes with three nozzles that are simple to pop on and off, emptying the dust tray is a breeze, overall am I impressed by just how well the whole thing comes together. This is now my go-to vacuum.cgtm

This vacuum is great! There are so many little things that they didn’t have to do but make it that much better. There is a small light on the vacuum which helps to see everything on the floor! There is a strip of rubber on the front that helps to not bang up your floor boards. The vacuum comes with a couple different pieces so you can use it for multiple things. It is very easy to mount on the wall and to clean something up very quick! I love how portable and adjustable it is with different pieces. Con: The only con I have is that you cannot see the battery life on the battery unless you turn the vacuum on. (This is being a little picky)Alana

Vacuum worked in steaks so you have to run it over the same spot over and over to get the whole even just a small area. The pet hair attachment broke pretty quickly after purchase. The accordion tubing connecting the arm tore in multiple places, we had to tape it repeatedly to retain suction because it kept breaking in different places. We have two huskies and vacuum like 2-3 times a week so it’s not like we used it incessantly. The final straw was another broken spot in the tubing which then kept disconnecting from the handheld attachment. Overall, did not stand up to any normal wear and tear, not sustainable for the price. You will be amazed how much your previous vacuum has missed once you start using this wonder. We have two cats and three dogs-a golden retriever and border collie who are shed machines-and I seemed to be constantly chasing hair tumbleweeds. The first time I used the vacuum on my 9x7rug, I had to empty the canister twice. That would have been two bags with the last vacuum. Not only is our house now cleaner but our wallet a little fatter as we are not buying two boxes of bags a month. Plus the benefits for the upcoming spring allergy season. Worst Vacuum I have ever bought. Seriously a joke. Hard floors it just shoots debris out the back. It takes 3 times longer to do any vacuuming because you are constantly going over areas you just vacuumed trying to get debris back up that it just shot back at you. It does mediocre on carpeted areas. Super lightweight which is nice but the cord is so short I can’t even vacuum one room without having to switch plugs which is super annoying. Great for a toy vacuum but not for any real cleaning.Jessica

I am very, very disappointed with this vacuum. It looks great, lightweight, easy to put together and was shipped fast. And on my tile floors it works quite well. Then tonight I attempted to vacuum my carpet and the vacuum just stuck right to the first spot it rolled on to. It would not BUDGE no matter how hard I pull, pushed, or sweet talked my cute little new vacuum it would not move. Seems that there is no adjustable setting to let you choose what height or bare floor, low, med, high carpet. I am handicapped and no way I can get it to roll and I have short low carpet. Since I had used it on the tile with no issues, I had felt comfortable tossing the box and all the packaging so I can’t even return it. Very, very disappointed by this. The vacuum was supposed to be my Amazon Prime weekend gift to myself, but Walmart impressed me with the cute look and low price, so I stashed my gift card and paid cash. I wasn’t expecting more than a basic vacuum at this price, but I didn’t even get that. It does not have an option to turn off the spinning brush. I could deal with that. There is no on off switch. There is a cheap plastic pedal to turn it on and off instead. I could deal with that. The cord is pretty short. I could deal with that. But it DOES NOT pick up much of anything! That I COULD NOT deal with. In fact, it often spins out the back what it does pick up! Oh and sometimes it pops open in the front while vacuuming and puffs out a cloud of dust and lint! It is the worst vacuum I have ever encountered!ES

After more than a decade, my Powerforce 6579-3 finally fell apart enough to replace. I dreaded replacing it as I loved it. Maybe making it lighter with a longer cord could've made it better. Now I've got the Powerforce Helix. I'm glad I didn't throw away my old vacuum yet. I previously threw out a carpet cleaner and the replacement didn't come with the same accessories. The Helix was a bit the same way. The hose on the helix is lighter (good) and stiffer (bad) and doesn't extend as long as my previous one. Thankfully my old one fits so I'll use it. Also, the new extension and crevice tool are both shorter! The new one has an oval brush attachment. My old one had a triangular brush, to get into the corners and it could be rotated to use another triangular attachment for picking up stuff from flat surfaces. Because it could rotate, there were gaps in the pieces which lost suction, so that could've been improved. With pets, a crevise tool isn't as good as a brush tool for the corners. I'm glad all my old hose and attachments will still work. And, I found a way to fit all but the rotating brush attachment to the new unit. The new hose and attachment feel cheaper because less material was used. That makes them lighter and I'm sure they'll perform just as well. The old flexible hose could be a problem if something got stuck in the end as it would quickly contract to it's small size, pulling the unit, which could fall on you. Just vacuumed the house and it took a LOT less effort with the lighter weight. That push-button to empty the container at the bottom is brilliant! I would definitely recommend this vacuum. I also feel they made good design choices and removed previously good ones.Dan

Liked the price but isn’t a good vacuum so you get what you pay for. I’ve turned this into my “outdoor vacuum”, for my outdoor patio rug and bought a new one for my carpets. The main reason for not liking this is that it spits out debris and who wants that? It spits out debris worse when you use the attachments but does it when doing regular vacuuming as well. It also doesn’t have any sort of edge to edge cleaning to it and is actually quite bulky. New one purchased is much better it’s also by bissell and is more money but worth it. The bissell powerforce helix turbo rewind pet is the one. The only difference in the name is helix is included and somehow it’s so much better! It looks very similar but made better for sure and has the edge to edge technology I desire and it works fantastic! Unfortunately I had to purchase that 2nd vacuum because this one was just not good, however I’m fine with having an outdoor vacuum, now my outdoor rug stays cleaner and it’s ok for the debris for this reason only. The price was cheap so it wasn’t a total loss.Mary

1-1-2022: GOT THIS VACUUM NOVEMBER 2021 AND IN DECEMBER IT STARTED TO HAVE TROUBLES RUNNING OR WORKING SMOOTHLY. THE ROLLER WOULD FREEZE UP AND NOT WORK AT ALL. THE MOTOR GOT GOT VERY LOUD AND QUIT JANUARY 2022 WHEN AT THE SAME TIME THE BELT BROKE FOR NO REASON OTHER THAN THE UNIT FROZE UP AND WOULD NOT WORK PROPERLY ALTOGETHER AND ACTUALLY I HAVE NO IDEA WHY IT BROKE AND QUIT AS IT DID AND I AM NOW GOING TO TRY TO FIGURE OUT HOW TO GET IT FIXED. I am struggling financially but needed a vacuum and in looking for one I noticed prices were all so high but this one was not so bad and that worried me at first. I also appreciate and am grateful that the assembly was so very easy and thank you Bissell for sending it mostly all assembled already and providing easy simple and understandable instructions if needed. I am also happy that it is smaller and lightweight and easy to operate. I struggle with pain (back, shoulders and arms) so with this vacuum being lightweight it is easier to move and use. I am in a small place with very little options for storage for a vacuum, and this vacuum fits so nicely in a small coat closet, making it easily and quickly accessible. In operating this vacuum… yes it really does “suck” and “sucks” very well! I have two dogs and therefore my carpet is often very full of dog hair it seems and this vacuum sucked that up along with so much dirt that I did not know was there in the carpet. It made my carpet look so much better after I was done. Emptying the larger collection container is pretty simple and easy as well as taking it all apart for cleaning (and there are easy instructions on the vacuum for taking apart and putting it back together which is very helpful). I feel that it has a great design for the brush roller that meets the carpet. The only thing at this point that bothers me is the electrical cord is shorter than I wish but if that was a big problem I could just get an additional extension cord and add to it and keep it there with the vacuum. Overall, this vacuum is exactly what I needed and wanted so thank you for all (that I had just mentioned).Suzan

I have had a Hoover Windtunnel since 2012 and love it. This vacuum is terrible. It has good suction but………When it is in the Upright position so you can use the attachments the roller brush does not shut off. It ruins your carpet! It actually was smelling like something was burning. I think the belt was slipping. Bad engineering to not have the roller brush shut off in the upright position. What kind of idiot would say yes to a design like this? Our Windtunnel shuts off in the upright position. Tried to call Hoover….was told they were closed on a Thursday, I Was told in a recording to go online which I did but chat said they were closed and to call them. PING PONG affect going on here. DUMB….. Then on Friday was on hold 2 hrs before it cut me off. Called back, pressed the prompt for a call back and never got one the entire day and still no call back. Today is Monday called again and again We are closed after going through all the prompts to wait for an agent. Went online to chat and actually got someone named Honey B who was a bit rude saying we are open, just busy. So there is a difference of being closed and saying busy hang on….. Then when I told about the problem we had I was told to talk to who makes our carpet. Pass the buck Hoover on poor engineering huh????. You should never have a vacuum that the brush spins and spins when it's in one place. This vacuum was made to use attachments so put the rollers into idle please while using them. You will wear out your carpet and wear out your vacuum belt. Hoover will try everything I'm sure to cover our damaged carpet….SO BUYER beware. FORGET this vacuum. Its junk. PLUS the dial to lift the vacuum head up really does nothing. It's a joke. And when emptying the canister, it fell off the hinges. Seriously, I will never recommend Hoover again. They have gone down hill..You do get what you pay for. And this one is best left on the shelf.Larry59

I grew up using Hoover products and have used them my entire adult life. I researched all brands/models before replacing our older Hoover. We decided on this vacuum due to having three cats and it's excellent reviews. The first time I vacuumed with it, I loved it. I actually still love it's vacuuming capabilities (after using it a month). The fault with this product lies in the fact that as soon as you turn on the vacuum, the brush turns at a very high speed (while vacuum is still in upright position) and the brush doesn't stop until you turn off the vacuum, regardless of floor setting or if you are using the upholstery/stair attachments. I've never had a vacuum like this before and being that it's specifically designed for pet owners, the fact that the brush turns when the upholstery attachments are in use baffles me. While trying to vacuum our couch the brush actually wore on our carpet and heated it to the point of melting after less than a minute. I tried manipulating the vacuum and leaning it back off the carpet while using the attachment but that is just way too much effort. We tried it on all floor settings including hard floor with the same results. Honestly, the brush shouldn't turn until the handle is released for vacuuming so I'm not exactly sure why it was made this way. I returned it thinking I had a faulty vacuum and exchanged it for the same model (it does vacuum really well), and the second vacuum did the same, so I must assume it's simply a design flaw. So if your pet's don't shed on furniture or stairs I recommend this model, otherwise It pains me to say that I don't recommend it.Cat mom of three

Well, it seems to do ok but there are some things that make me wonder why they were designed the way they were. The on switch should be up at the top of the handle instead of being a foot switch where the reclining lever used to be for something like 100 years of Hoover vacuums. To recline the handle now requires I reach around with my foot and step on the front of the machine while forcing the handle down. It's very awkward and silly to change a design that worked for a century. And the rug height adjustment is a little touchy. I set it around medium and started vacuuming a very low rug and didn't know the belt was slipping until I smelled rubber burning. Oops. Once I learned to dial the height properly the vacuum does a pretty good job of cleaning pet hair and dirt from carpet. I had been vacuuming with a shop vac and thought my rugs were fairly clean, but the Hoover with the spinning brushes managed to pull out a lot more dirt that I missed. Emptying the canister is straightforward. I take it outside and blow it with a leaf blower. I can't imagine getting it sufficiently clean any other way without using water. Overall it's a marvel of engineering that performs its job very well, but with a couple very obvious design blunders that renders it a bit awkward to use.Randal

I just moved into a new apartment and have saved up for this Dyson and it was the best decision I have made. My new place is a 2 bed/2 bath apartment with mostly hard floors and carpets in the bedroom. After going to Dyson’s website and taking their quiz. First, I have to suggest going through Dyson’s website to purchase and not through a 3rd party (Amazon, Target, etc). Dyson offers a price match, you are ensured a warranty, if you wish to get additional attachments, you can know you are getting the correct ones. Next, after know about what model and price point I needed, I was able to look at each machine and pick out the best that would work for me, my cleaning routine, and my home. My Dyson came with so many different attachments (included!!!) but the reason I chose this one was it had different heads for one for each type of flooring, carpet or hard floors. I can remove the wand to make the attachments handheld to clean my couch, add it and a soft bristle head to clean the walls and the top corners next to my ceiling. I could go on and on. This isn’t a vacuum… this has replaced so many different tools I used to clean and, above all, my favorite part, as new apartments can come some lingering bugs, I take the head off and can stay far enough away and still catch and dump the creepy-crawlies. It is my new bug killing machine. As I said, I could write a novel about how much I love this Dyson. It was worth every penny.heather.n

First of all; I have a DC33 for almost 10 years and it is still working excellent, I had repaired a minor cosmetic issue but this is a great tool from Dyson. I really appreciate the thoughtful design of these machines and everything that Dyson produces. This is an outstanding company. Now, we bought the V8 Absolute and we are even more impressed with such beautiful design, with such a great details and mostly with the efficiency of a Dyson. The quality of the VB-Absolute is visible and tangible; this is a great investment and a great tool to implement in our home. I got a V7 in Jan 2019. Initially, and for about 1.5 yrs., I thoroughly enjoyed it. Then my housecleaner told me a charge didn't last more than 10 mins. Because I have another plug-in vacuum, I didn't think much of it at the time. Then I hired another cleaner. She brought her own vacuum so it hasn't been used at all since Jan 2022. Just in the last week, I tried to use it and it only lasted about 30 seconds. I had a very good experience with the website and service person on the phone but I have been advised that a new battery is necessary. If that is correct, I must say that I am disappointed in Dyson. I expected better performance from their machine. For a machine that is 3 1/2 yrs. old and only used perhaps 2 years of that (and not solely because I have another machine), I think the battery should last longer. And, if the cost of the battery is 1/4 of the price of the machine, I think that is even more disappointing. And, it's the cost of the battery + shipping. My carpenter husband has battery powered tools, uses them consistently and has never had to replace a battery. That knowledge doesn't help me. Is it possible that the charging station is defective? At any rate, as much as I loved it in the beginning, I'm pretty unhappy at present. I recommended my vacuum to lots of friends at first but now, I would have to tell them the whole story and what to expect.Bren

I greatly dislike this new model. This vacuum has the heavy motor part on the top so after only a few minutes of vacuuming my hand and arm grew very tired. I had to hold down the on switch the entire time which became painful for my arthritic fingers. It does not stand up alone. I have an old model Eufy which I loved but doesn't hold a charge anymore. It had great features: the heavy part is at the bottom, has a switch to turn on and off, and it stands upright. I wish Eufy would have stayed with that old design because it was 100% better than this new model which I will be returning.Henry

This vacuum is pretty good. I really like that it is small and compact. Its easy to hang out of the way. It has super bright LED lights on it that are great for seeing under tables or darker areas. The head of it swivels very easy to get into tight areas. Its super easy to switch attachments. Its light weight so that makes cleaning higher areas easy. This vacuum was great on my hardwood floors but when I moved to my area rugs and the carpet I wasn't all that impressed. Even thought you are able to control the power I just felt that I didn't get the suction of a normal vacuum. I did however remove a lot of soil so it do its job. The reason for 4 stars is the power button, you have to hold it the entire time you are using the vacuum and because of how you have to hold it the main unit rests on your knuckle and causes a little discomfort after awhile. If you need a vacuum for little messes and hard to reach areas this is perfect for that.Tajjie

I have room for exactly 3 vacuums in my house. An upright, a hand-vac, and a shop-vac. The problem with this setup is that often enough I'm presented with a mess (via kids, dog, or both) that is slightly too big for the hand-vac and not worth the pain of lugging out the upright or shop-vac. I thought this might be a solution that would fit between the two and was pleasantly surprised to find that it not only fit the bill for those larger messes, but, thanks to how easy it is to swap out attachments, also replaced the hand-vac all together. There's a lot to love about this vacuum. – LED lights to clearly indicate battery charge – 3 levels of suction available to conserve power or to make short work of a mess – Easy to empty dust bin – LED lights in the front of the motorized brush tool – Easy to pull power trigger – Wall mount makes for easy storage – Includes 3 attachments to handle a variety of needs The no-hassle packaging was actually pretty impressive on its own. No staples or zip-ties to fight with, just cleverly folded cardboard. It is heavier than my old hand-vac, which is to be expected given the larger battery and motor, but still light enough to use with one hand. It is designed to be comfortable with 2 hands when not using the motorized brush tool, which is how the kids like to hold it.DenGreat

Need a new and stronger vacuum but we didn’t want to go with a Dyson. This vacuum is aesthetically pleasing. Hangs on your wall just like a dyson. It comes with a lot of attachments which personally I’m so happy about , especially the furniture mini vacuum attachment. We have a Golden retriever and his hair can me so stubborn to come off our couch when he sneaks nap on it while we are working. This vacuum cleaned up all his hair from the couch. The vacuum is also pretty quite (way more than the dyson I find) perfect for trying to quickly vacuum the area while baby sleeps. The app also helps you keep in mind when to clean the filter and replace it which I think is important for any vacuum’s longevity!Nicki

I have a Bernese Mountain Dog. She’s big, dirty and sheds like you wouldn’t believe. This vacuum does great with hair on hardwood flooring. It is lightweight, super maneuverable, and very quiet (vacuum next to a sleeping baby quiet). It will not, however, be replacing my old reliable corded Bissel Pet Pro. The tineco pure one s11 spartan doesn’t have nearly the suction, you can’t adjust the roller height for hard floors to long rugs, it won’t pick up dog food or similarly sized debris, and it kinda sucks to push on carpet. You have to empty it multiple times (at least in a pet household), but it’s super easy so that’s not really a big deal. I got it on sale so I think I’ll keep it for in between cleans and quick clean ups, but would absolutely be returning it if I’d paid full price.Lexi

I bought this exactly 18 months ago. it was decent, nothing to write home about, but good enough to pick stuff up off my hardwood floors. Not so great on rugs, I had two area rugs and would use a different vacuum to get the pet hair off of those. however, yesterday I went to turn it on and got nothing. when I would push the on button, I could feel the motor try to spin for about 2 seconds and then nothing. it's dead. it's going in the garbage. I will never buy another Tineco product again. $219 for 18 months worth of use is pathetic. Tineco's website says their warranty is only valid if purchased from them directly or through Amazon or a couple of other sources, but Walmart was not on the list. I'm not going to even waste my time trying. I feel like I got mugged. ☹️Kelly
