Well i have 2 now and have had them all my life, i modify them top to bottom. Adding new motor to redoing the fairings. Ive had the mx500 as a kid. Im now 21 years old, and still ride obviously with the modification to help with range and speed. The only 2 things i would like to point out is that after awhile the sprocket may go due to overtorque from the motor for you new riders. It can be fixed by not hardlaunching the bike. The second is that i have a mx650 from 2006 (purple) and one from (2016). The 2006 looks like is was built with a lot more quality, the welds are more discrete and theres even color on the battery covers compared to a bit sloppyer welds on the newer razor. They are still built to last and are fun to mod and ride.TheTruthBringer
It looks so different when you have it in front of you. It's way too small! Apparently is for young people above 16 years old, but no, it's for a 10 years-old small size kid. One more thing that I didn't like is that it is too noisy. It has grinding and cracking noises coming from the rear wheel. There is nothing in the manual that prepares us for that noise, maybe some little note in the troubleshooting page that advises lubricating the chain, but the problem is not the chain, it's what is inside the wheel, so I put some grease in the axles and the bearings and the grinding sounds, diminished. Unfortunately, I couldn't fix the cracking sound. Think twice before buying this mini bike if you want it for a tall kid or for yourself. Buy it only if you have a large yard or live out the city, because it's illegal to ride it on the streets.JESUS

Bought this for my grandson to get started on two wheels. I configured a throttle stop to prevent him from rocketing off. I even rode it around at a much higher weight than recommended. Note you should place the charger on a timer for the bike where once charged, it only charges 10-15 minutes a day. You should also try to run the batteries down pretty far every once in a while so they don't develop memories.Mr B.
We got this for my son, who is almost 13. He does seem a bit big on it, so I probably wouldn't reccomend it for older kiddos. It was pretty easy to put together, and came with all the tools required. This motorcycle is fast and a great gift. HOWEVER, the size was a little misleading. This is bike Its way shorter in height than what I expected. Although, my son has a blast riding on it….it is very small. The seat comes about KNEE height and the handles are right below my waist and Im average height. Again, a great toy but the HEIGHT is shorter than expected. ALso, the throttle doesnt have a gradual speed build on its dial….its all or nothing straight out of the gate until your rider learns how to master the throttle to take control over the speed. and that night I gapped a r3 and I took 400 quid off to a guy who thought his scooter was built by Ferrari so I proved it was not the case, and all I did was mount an old 6400w motor with a 72v around 80ah battery and a pretty sweet controller to I borrowed from a friend, then got some super Moto sticky tyres and it's so light you look like you've been shot in the back cos your laid over the whole front of the bike to try not to flip it.. oh yeah I put on a front sprocket with a tooth less but that's all I did, riding flat out next to a car said we were doing 44mph and the smaller spprocket probably lost 2mph but the best way I can explain how it accelerates is like a 2 stroke yz125 hitting power band it's like every single bit of power it's capable of coming in at once. so obviously we see them as mini Moto or pit bikes but throw a couple hundred at it and you'll have the best wheelie bike you can make imagineBRUTAL BikeLife

This model is not sold anymore it seems. I would think it is due to design flaws. My son weights about 120 pounds and the unit says 230 pounds. After 5 short rides something in the sealed motor assembly broke and I had to have the motor replaced. Razor was great and shipped it our right away. Soon after the rear axle broke, then broke again and again. It is obviously a design flaw. I am going to the local hardware store to buy a higher grade of bolt and nut but this is not a good sign. The overall unit is good, but this is the third time the spindle arm has cracked. When the spindle arm cracks the front wheel falls off, while the kids are on the unit. The part is $32.99 shipped, a bit of a pain to replace… but also you have to wait 3+ weeks to get the part. This time the part is backordered and could take 6 weeks… for the overall price of this quad it should built better. Oh and Razor will tell you that the part broke due to you riding the unit to hard. This thing is pretty neat, the kids love it. I’ve had a few issues but I’ve been able to handle it. Ultimately the front spindle broke, like others have said. No other available parts for this specific model to replace it. The other models use a slightly different spindle so I had to buy those and modify it using the broken parts and my welder. He seriously couldnt have been any happier. It came basically put together so that was easy on my husband. All he had to do was attach the handle bars and a plate on the front. Came with all tools necessary to do the job. Dont need any tools of your own. Directions were easy to read and follow. My son absolutely loves it! Hes 5 and its perfect for him. My son LOVES this bike!! We bought the Razor MX-350 for his 5th birthday present, he has been asking for a dirtbike for 2 years. Since they are so expensive we decided to buy this to make sure he really loves it before completely investing. This bike is small but stout! I rode it myself (im 5’1 and about 130lb) and it was fun!! It is fast and as far as i know it doesnt have any sort of parental switch to slow it down so you really need to teach your child that before riding. My son has a hard time with the brake handle too, his hand is just a little too small for it but he manages. The bike is also pretty heavy so its good to practice by standing over and making sure they can hold it up okay. GET A FULL FACE HELMET!! We also bought gloves, knee pads, and a chest protector to be extra safe. This bike is well worth the money and we are sooo happy we purchased it! Great starter and learning bike.MSIN

Bought this for my 5 yr old son as an upgrade from his Razor MX350. It arrived in a very sturdy welded and bolted metal framed box, not much of a risk for shipping damage the way it was packed. The quality on this bike blows razor away, not even in the same ballpark. The battery is awesome, lasts about 2 hours on relatively flat ground and at least 30 minutes when pushing it hard on steep trails. The 3 adjustments for speed, acceleration, and response are really nice to have at the beginning because this little thing hauls. Overall it's an impressive little bike for the money, and it looks amazing. Customer service was excellent with great communication and fast shipping. I'll be buying the 1500w for my 7 yr old as soon as it's available.Chris

In stock form, this is a delicate yard toy. It isn’t a Motorcycle. It isn’t even the quality of an inexpensive box store bicycle. However, with some modifications, it works ok. Bought the mx350 as a birthday present in May, 2019. The hub stripped after about an hour of use. Hub replaced under warranty then it stripped again with another 15 minutes of lite use. Note that the child rider weighs significantly less than the recommended weight limits. Dealer no longer supported repair after initial warranty claim. With support from the internet I found a hub fix – weld the hub to eliminate free-wheeling. Once the hub was welded, it never stripped again even with a 100lb rider. Despite what is stated on the Razor website, I do not recommend riders >100lbs even with a welded hub. The second major problem is the chain always falls off the stock 11 tooth counter sprocket. I replaced the tensioner twice and made several wheel alignment adjustments but the chain continued to derail. The fix was a 15 tooth counter sprocket from Profthomas on eBay. The sprocket is a perfect fit on the MX350 and, due to its larger size, it corrected the chain derailing problem. An added advantage is this 15 tooth sprocket makes the MX350 much faster on pavement. Our MX350 was a barely used toy until installing this sprocket. Kids enjoy it now but its almost too fast. Note that there is a big loss of torque so it will be slower in grass.jckawizx14

Contacted razor "customer support" which was really them just blaming me for the issue, and telling me how to properly charge a battery..even though I know all about batteries and I followed the manual to a T. Razor also looked up the serial number and it turns out it was made in late 2017! Which means it sat at Walmart's facility for a while. Razor not stand behind their own product. I went out and bought the new batteries and installed them myself because I wanted my son to be able to ride it. Would NEVER buy a razor product again and definitely not from Walmart.com, because there's a good chance it sat for months and months with no charging. If you do buy it online e or even in the store, i recommend looking up the manufacture date…yiu may already have batteries that are on their last leg! Please don’t waste your time and money on this bike. I spent nearly $7,000 on it including an extra battery. I bought it through WellBots and they too are unresponsive. Three weeks after I purchased the bike, the speedometer display blacked out. I immediately filed a warranty claim with Segway and have received no status updates despite my constant emails and phone calls. This company Segway and WellBots are asleep at the wheel folks. The bike is great when it’s working but god help you if you have problems. The customer support is pathetic!!!! I bought the bike in early July of 2021 and received it approximately two weeks later. Remembering him comment on one he saw months earlier I decided to surprise him with one, price was very reasonable for what you get. He loved it, Santa was the hero of the day, I was jealous of Santa he got all the credit. The 3rd time my son rode his new bike the chain fell off. This is the 4th bike I have owned like this for my boys. Every one the chain falls off a few days after purchasing. My son is interested in motocross and this is a great electric bike for him to ride around the neighborhood and feel like he's on a motorcycle or dirt bike. I looked into getting him a gas powered dirt bike but they're too loud for neighborhood use. This bike is perfect because it quiet and easy to ride.
