Let me just say this first, my hair Journey has been chaotic and I’m finally at a calm point. I have tried so many products both working my budget and outside my budget and nothing seems to last. It felt great then but over time it was not helping my hair at all. I am finally taking great care of my hair and with some good old research I have a pretty good routine as my hair is finally growing again and shedding a lot less. I went to a hairstylist recently for the first time in years and let me tell you! My hair has never felt so soft with this redken products, so once I finally had the budget and my hair hair touching the small of my back (happy dance). I did some research into what redken product would work best for my growing hair. I decided on the extreme length and snagged the last bottles during the Ulta jumbo sale!! I have been using this for a month now and my hair has never felt better, it’s not drying, it doesn’t make my hair brittle, it has stopped my hair from shedding a lot, it has even brought back my natural curl! I am in disbelief with how well this stuff works! My hair has so much more volume than usual, less flyaways it just fell in the correct spot stayed effortlessly! Once my hair dried my fiance immediately was like, "Wow your hair looks incredible!" Redken is one of my absolute favorite shampoos. This brand literally has a shampoo set for all hair types. 🔹So what’s the difference with this range? Well Redken Extreme Length Shampoo contains Biotin to help strengthen damaged hair and helps hair grow longer and healthier. It also helps hair from breaking and promoting your hair to grow stronger. It also works with color treated hair. 🔹First and foremost- the scent! It smells heavenly. Not too overwhelming but just enough. I felt my hair to be very soft and hydrated. No hair fallout (like some brands do to me). No irritation on my scalp. I did notice my hair to slightly improve in the few times I have used it’s and incredibly soft it is and healthy looking. I received the Living Proof full thickening mousse free for review from PINCHme and I've honestly really enjoyed this product. This mousse is said to boost volume while holding your style and I would definitely agree with that claim. Its lightweight and smells quite nice. It's not a super airy mousse but it's not super dense either. It doesn't evaporate right away but it's not heavy or sticky at all. I have pretty long hair so instead of the standard egg size I typically use maybe two egg size dallops. It has been way too hot and humid here lately to do much with my hair, and while the directions say to blow-dry, I just can't. I apply it to my damp hair right after my shower and then I tie it up in a bun. When it's fully dry and I let it down, it's so full of volume and the texture is lovely. The waves are beautiful and they do hold all day. Many products of this type cause my hair to get frizzy and almost static like but this one doesn't do that. I get no flyaways or frizz with this mousse and my hair smells so great. It's a nice, light clean smell, very subtle. I've really enjoyed using this product and I would definitely recommend it. Oh, and I like the packaging as well. The button you press to dispense the mousse is a nice solid button. For those of us that have hands and fingers that might not work so well, I had no issues.ARain

For Baby Fine Hair People: This works! It's the only product I've found that actually makes my genuinely baby fine hair look thicker and appear to have some body. The effect lasts all day and onto the next if you decide not to wash your hair every day. I use it sparingly and blow dry carefully though, because it does make your hair a little stickier before it's dried. That can cause baby fine hair to break when combing. So use it, be very gentle when combing or brushing, and enjoy. This product works better for my baby fine hair than the Living Proof Full Thickening Cream. I found that product to be too greasy and it weighs my baby fines down. I wrote a long review about the LP Thickening Cream and dealing with baby fine hair in case that's helpful to anyone. My one complaint about LP products, or any in general, is fragrance. I'm picky about scents and would never wear this scent as a perfume, so why would I want it anywhere on my body? I wish all these products had a fragrance-free version.asnetall

On Baby Fine Hair and this product: I have real baby fine hair. Lots of people talk about having baby fine hair, but really don't. It's a mixed blessing. Straight baby fine hair is so smooth that clips, bands, etc. can slide out of it unless there's silicone on the inside of a clip to grip the hair. If your baby fine hair is light in color, it may be almost see-through when backlit. This is not great if you want to feel like you have a nice full head of hair. If you take a strand of baby fine hair and hold it parallel to the floor, the strand itself is such a small diameter that it forms almost a sharp 90-degree angle hanging straight down from the edge of your fingers; no curve of any sort as it hangs down. It's hard for straight baby fine hair to hold a curl unless you do harsh stuff to make it hold. That, in turn, damages your hair. Almost any processing damages baby fine hair. It's also very easy to break strands of baby fine hair so you have to comb or brush carefully. Baby fine hair will blow everywhere if there's the slightest breeze. In my case, that means I've always got messy hair. Light baby fine hair is a pain if it gets blown onto your face or into your eyelashes. You can feel it's there, but it's hard to see the individual delicate strands and hard to detect them with your fingers. That's the scoop on baby fines. You live with it and figure out how to deal with it. BUT, straight baby fine hair can be so shiny and smooth that it can look and feel as luxurious as silk when it's in good condition. Like babies' hair! This can be lovely if your hair is thick enough. I've tried this product as directed with bad results. The product is too oily or thick even when put on extremely sparingly, so it weighs my hair down, making it look unwashed and stringy. So, I decided to try to use it as a rinse after shampooing, and have had better luck. I distribute it throughout the hair from roots to tips and then rinse it out. Baby fine hair people will feel a kind of stickiness or roughness once it is rinsed out, and will have to comb their hair carefully so as not to break it, but it adds product in just the right amount for real baby fine hair to have some bounce and look thicker without weighing it down or making it look greasy. It's not going to be a dramatic difference though. I have had far better luck with the Living Proof Thickening Mousse. After trying what feels like hundreds of conditioners, mousses and creams that did nothing, LP Mousse has been my go-to product. It's the only product I've found that makes my hair look thicker and that lasts all day looking great. It makes me feel almost like I have normal-people-hair! But I take breaks. I found that blow-drying damages my hair too easily, and the mousse, although super effective at making my hair look thicker and giving it more body, makes my hair sticky enough that I break hair easily, even when combing gently. So, Baby Fine Sisters take note. You have to handle your hair really gently with these products. Personally, I'd opt for the LP mousse over the cream, and be gentle with my hair. I've used Redken United 21 for years. I have learned it's good to try new products every now and then, because something might be a bit better than what you're used to. Recently, my long, fine colored hair was still somewhat dry after using the Redken product. After a little research, I decided to try this. Plus I love the Colorwow shine spray, anti frizz spray, and money mask – all are awesome products. I tried two pumps of this leave in today, and was super impressed. My hair was so smooth and sleek afterwards, and after giving it a quick curl with a 1" barrel, it had some volume to it that stuck around. So although it says for medium to thick hair, this works really well on my fine hair. And it's not so heavy that it won't let the hair hold a gentle curl or fall flat. Colorwow products are great! I don't normally leave reviews but I had to with this one. Oh. My. God. This has totally changed my life. I can't believe how silky soft and frizz free my hair is after using this, and it really does last the 3 washes! My hair is like GLASS! and this is coming from a girl who has such thick frizzy hair that has had alot of chemical damage over the years. I was nearly at my wits end as every product I seemed to use didn't cut it, and was still struggling with dry hair and split ends, however this product has made my hair LUXURIOUS!. After using it when I blow dry it my brush glides through my hair like silk and don't have half as much split ends! I very much enjoy this [brand:color-wow] Dream Cocktail Kale I fusion. It’s a treatment product when applied to damp hair followed by heat styling, activates and helps to reduce breakage and strengthen hair while providing some heat protection. I don’t always blow dry my hair, so I reserve this product for when I do. I split my hair into two section and apply two pumps to each on damp hair, and then wait a few minutes before I begin blow drying with a round brush. The product is a thin cream with slip, so as long as I don’t overuse it, I do not feel like my hair has product or a weighed down feeling to it. I’m about 1/2 through the bottle, and while I do think it’s effective to prevent damage. I’m not sure that it’s a miracle product in terms of repair. I do like it though and my hair looks smoother when heat styled if this is in the routine, so I will continue to use it. There are two other varieties to this product I do plan to try. I took this supplement before and understanding as with most vitamins and supplements in order for them to remain effective, or to see the benefits, you must keep taking them and this one is no exception. About 3 weeks after I tried them for about 3 months I noticed my hair texture change and thinning started again. I kicked myself and couldn't order the next bottles quick enough. 5 months later, I'm finally back to where I was the first time around. Unfortunately none of the products worked for me. I’ve been taking the DHT blocker, NutraM, EFA complete, NutraM serum, and using the laser cap twice weekly (basically, every product available) for several months yet none of these products have made a difference in my hair shedding or regrowth. Granted, my case is an unusual one, but nevertheless I was hopeful in this company and there image. I understand hair recovery isn’t something that happens overnight, but many of the products imply seeing results within a 3-6 month range, (I’ve been on them longer.) Overall the customer service was very pleasant, and when I did get the chance to speak w Dr. William G. (the founder of the company) he was also pleasant and tried best to answer all of my questions. I’m a 56 year old woman and the last couple of years I’ve noticed clumps of hair in the tub everytime I shower. I do have long hair but the clumps of hair fall was something new. With my age there’s hormonal changes that affects my hair fall and baldness runs on the male side of my family. Eventhough I’m a female I also noticed my 2 older sisters have thinning hair as well. I’ve discussed my concern with my primary doctor and I asked her if I can use minoxidil. She gave me the okay and suggest I see a hair specialist if this really bothers me. I’m not at a point I need to see a hair specialist but hair loss does bother me because I take pride in my long straight hair. I started using the men’s extra strength minoxidil once a day instead of 2x a day to see what will happen. After 2 months of using it I was still seeing clumps of hair so I started doing more research. DHT is believed to cause hair loss. I read that while minoxidil can stimulate new hair growth it does not prevent DHT from reaching the hair follicles so you can still loose hair. I decided to try DHT blocker along with minoxidil so I purchased The Advanced Trichology DHT Blocker. WOW!!! After only 2 weeks of using this product I already noticed less hair fall. I’m on my 2nd bottle and hair loss seemed to be normal. No more clumps of hair in the tub after every shower. Just the normal hair loss with your hair cycle. I don’t know if the combination of using minoxidil with the Advanced Trichology DHT Blocker may have been the reason. All I know is that with just using the minoxidil on its own for more than 2 months I was still experiencing clumps of hair loss and only into 2 weeks of using this product I started seeing great results. This is it, the best jojoba oil that I have ever tried so far. I have oily skin and this one soaks into your skin. I use it many ways, I use it to take my make up off by rubbing it into my skin and then follow up with your cleanser on top of that. I use it morning and night. I originally got this because I read about how castor oil makes your hair grow faster. I don't think it's made any difference in my hair growth, but it sure does make it soft and shiny! The first time I used it I didn't dilute it with another oil and ended up ripping a bunch of hair out because it's so thick. Learn from my mistake! Mix it with some olive oil and apply, cover, and leave it in overnight. Wash it out the next morning and be amazed by your silky hair! I usually do a treatment once every other week, I could see it weighing down your hair if you use it too often or don't get it all out in the shower. For those of you with sensitivities do a patch test for a few days before using, some people can be allergic. So this weird thing happened and I got this bald spot on my eyelid! I went from full beautiful lashes that I just had to lift every day but they were long and full!! I NEVER write reviews, but this product has changed my hair life. I get stopped in the store by strangers telling me they love my hair. Like with all products, I think there are things you can do to increase its success, the most important: blow dry it with a round brush. I do not even use a flat iron until day two or three, and then only to straighten some of the ends in the back. I am down to fixing my hair 2-3 times a week. On days two and three, I literally wake up, spray dry shampoo at the roots and dry conditioner at the ends, comb it, use the flat iron if absolutely necessary (usually only necessary on the under hair in the back), and hairspray. This product makes my thin lifeless hair look super thick! It is by far the best hair product I have ever used. I have been so impressed, I have invested in many other Drybar products.leavinsk

I have pretty thin, very straight hair. Its a great red color, but its usually pretty lifeless. I wanted to give this product a try, and I'm glad I only bought the mini version. It didn't work for me at all, which isn't uncommon with my hair. The first day I used it, it rained (my hair goes dead flat with humidity), so I gave it another try on a different day. However, the second day, there was no change. At first, once I finished blowdrying my hair, I thought it would actually work, but the results were mostly just from having just dried my hair. By the time I made it to my office, my hair was just as flat as ever, if not more so due to the presence of a product. I have very flat, fine hair. It is hard for me to get volume. This worked so much better than any other product I've tried. Put this in my hair after it was towel dried and then dried my hair upside down and BAM my hair had to much volume and also helped with texture to help my curls hold which my hair does not hold curls well either. So I received this as a free gift from brigeo hair care but all opinions and thoughts are my own. What I tried is from Brigeo the vegan hair care company. It's the hydrate + define curls. So its specifically designed for curly hair. Essentially its supposed to help prevent hair cuticle damage. I was a bit surprised to find that it's a hair mask. So far its been easy to use and apply. I like the scent, though for those who are sensitive to scents they may not like that feature. It doesn't leave a lingering residue, like some masks tend to have. But unfortunately I haven't used it long enough to be able to see any real results yet. My hair doesn't really look or feel different but maybe it requires longer use? I really appreciate so much about this brand. I also enjoy the packaging. I know the line works wonders for many! That being said, I really wish I liked this hair mask more. Everyone has different hair and haircare needs, so keep that in mind. The scent of this hair mask is very light and natural. Quite pleasant. I like the lighter texture of the cream. It isn't as thick as some hair masks. I personally deal with tangles and this didn't provide enough slip or detangling for me. If you have shorter hair or your hair isn't difficult to comb or brush out, then this could work better for you! I felt like I could still use a bit more moisture, but I do also have chemically treated hair. If you are solely looking for something to enhance and define your curls then I would probably give this a try along with the rest of the curl charisma line. If you're already using that line successfully then this would be a nice addition. If you're looking for anything to assist with really damaged hair or if you need deep hydration, this may not be enough. You could also rotate between masks. In regards to just curls and smoothing the cuticle, I think this works well. So normal curly guys and gals, it's definitely worth a go! This Curl Charisma Rice Amino + Avocado Hydrating & Defining Mask was gifted to me by Briogeo in exchange for my honest review. I am in no way affiliated to the company and my opinion is my own. I absolutely love how delicate it smells, I can't really say it's coming from the avocado, but I have other products that are rice based and the smell is divine! Though I don't have much of a curly texture, my hair is definitely wavy (super long) and this mask leaves my hair well hydrated with no frizz (my biggest problem) which lets me show off more natural styles in a way that it's manageable and more defined. I’ve been using this shampoo for over a month now. I decided that I wanted to grow out my dry and damaged hair after I had it cut short due to bleaching which caused a lot of breakage. I really wish I was able to show a picture of my hair after I used this product. The two you can see are more slightly wavy, but this product definitely works on curlies! I have 3B type hair myself, I love to use this product as an oil to break my gel cast and as a basic curl refresher. I use about two pumps for my shoulder length hair on a fresh wash day. With that being said, this little bottle can go pretty quickly depending on how often you have was days. I personally have no issue at all with the sent. It is very light, not overpowering at all. I’ve been using this product for 2 years and it’s my HG smoothing product! My hair is curly, color treated, and tends to be dry and damaged. It drinks this stuff up and looks so healthy and smooth after I use it. It keeps my frizz at bay and my hair stays feel so soft. I use it as part of my Verb Sets, as the finish to whichever shampoo, conditioner, mask, etc I use. I use the Ghost Line and the Hydrating set along with the Reser Kit. I love that all Verb products have the same scent so I can mix and match products. Regardless of which other products I use first, I use this daily. If my hair is feeling drier, I’ll apply a bit more to my ends at night. I have a lot of hair so I use more than suggested. It’s small but lasts awhile so I think it’s a pretty good value. I’m a huge fan of the scent, I don’t feel like it weighs my hair down in a bad way, and it’s one of the few products I’ve used that I haven’t felt like lost it’s effectiveness over time. I first tried this as a trial size along with one of my previous orders. The small 17ml bottle lasted me 6 months, even though I have plenty of hip length hair that is naturally curly in texture, however the strands themselves are somewhere between fine and thick, so medium size strands? Any how, i would use this oil after every shower, separating the hair into two sections and applying the ghost oil to the lengths, beginning from the ears down, and with any left over on my hands would smooth the light frizz at the roots, however I’ve never really applied the oil to the roots. With the trial size lasting 6 months, I saw a dramatic improvement, my hair would always feels super soft and virtually frizz free every time I used it, and it was noticeable when I skipped the oil step. I ended up finishing up the oil approximately two weeks before I ordered the full size. Those two weeks without the oil, my hair tangled more easy, my ends felt dry, and my hair was no longer as soft feeling and I was experiencing more frizz. While I wish the bottle was bigger in size, I can say this product is worth the $20CA, and will continue to use the ghost oil after every shower until I find something even better, which for the price of this product I doubt I will find a replacement anytime soon. A definite 5/5 for me, even though I wish the bottle was bigger for the price, seeing as how I’m a gal on a budget, but for nice feeling hair I can’t complain, especially since I haven’t had a haircut since before the 2020 pandemic began in March of last year. I have oils at home, that to be honest I have forgotten to use recently! Having visited my hairdresser recently this was used on my hair for the first time. I have thick, curly, coarse and frizzy hair. To blow dry it it can be a workout for the arms..and there is no way I can get it as smooth as they can! When this was used (just a couple of drops) on damp hair, the texture of my hair was so smooth and shiny it was amazing. It has certainly not made it greasy or feeling 'weighed down'….just loving the shine and the way it has made my hair look so healthy. This has spurred me on to use up my old oils and then I will be buying this for sure….I also noted that other reviews have suggested other products of the same brand to use at the same time. My hair is naturally ringlet-curly, but the ringlets were always noticeably frizzy. Over the decades I’ve tried oils, creams, mousse, gels, lotions, & potions to try and tame them. I gave up & would blowout my ringlets then straighten my hair, then slather with product. It worked for a while. Enter Covid Hair Loss!! I knew I needed to be gentle with my hair because it was now extremely fragile, which meant cutting way back on heat tools. After an exhaustive search for something new to tame the ringlet-frizz I now had back by letting my hair air dry, I landed on Olaplex No. 7. I honestly did not put a lot of faith in it, but I do now! I use about 7 drops in my hands and apply it to damp hair, then let air dry almost completely. I have zero frizz and perfect curls… ALL DAY! I do use a diffuser just to hit my roots for volume, but that’s it. I went from unruly frizzy curls, to blownout & straightened, to naturally curly shiny non-frizzy hair. It's been YEARS since my hair was this soft. My hair started to get thinner, dry, and dull in my mid twenties and I tried all kinds of things like overnight hair masks, Prose "personalized" shampoo/conditioner, Vegamour drops, and nothing made a difference. Now I have very long, semi thick hair, that's very coarse. It's got a very pleased scent to it, and you need only about a Nickle sized amount distributed through the hair to get the desired results. I bought a little bottle maybe about a year ago for roughly $7 and it is still more than halfway full with constant use. I love the shine it gives my hair and I love how effective it is. And the smell is so fragrant and nice! It makes me feel like I've just come out of a spa day. You can find this at most retailers and like I mentioned it's normally under $10. This product is my now go to after I hop out of the shower. Using it on damp hair before a blow dry leaves my hair shiny and smooth all day. It’s given back my dull hair its shine. My hair is bleached so it always feels dry and damaged, even after styling with other heat protectant sprays, but this hair oil has helped maintain my frizz even days after use. I have been using this after the shower for around 4 weeks and am loving it. I’ve gotten a few close friends using it too now as it’s a cheap alternative to the hair oils from the hair care shops. I use a bit over a 50 cent sized amount and have barely made a dint into the product. The ogx argan oil also has a lovely smell that meshes well with my shampoo and conditioner. I can also extend the period of time between washes which is so great as it takes me so long to wash and style my hair. I usually have to wash my hair every three days as it will start getting dry and gets knotty very easily. I can now get around a week before my hair needs a wash. My hair also has been more durable and I have been experiencing way less breakage as well as loosing less hair throughout the day. It’s also become way more easy to brush my hair in the mornings and I’m experiencing much less tangles, I believe this is because my hair is more nourished and healthy so its getting tangled less then with my dry hair with no product. The only negative thing I have noticed is if my hair isn’t damp enough or if i try and use it after straightening my hair it makes my hair look oily and weighed down, this is more user error then a problem with the oil itself. With the negatives aside I would definitely recommend this product to anyone with bleached hair or thicker hair. This oil claims to be a penetrating oil and I whole heartland agree, I have used many oils on the market and most just leave a layer if oil on top (yes even when I apply with towel dried hair) and some are not at all affordable. I have never tried an oil that makes such a difference on my hair and leaves barely any residue, I use a generous amount and my hair still sucks all the oil up. My hair thrives with oil because of how much heat and bleach I use on it, its given my hair so much shine and smoothness back into it. I am extremely happy with how my hair has turned out. Even after bleaching it Last week, I feel like I was able to go blonder then usually as I have been taking care of it and nurturing it with a few new ogx products. I just received it and I love it already! It made my hair really soft, smooth and shiny! Some people complain this is full of chemicals (silicones) that are bad for the hair. The hair is dead and if you want it smooth and shiny, you need to condition it with things like emollients, and some also act as occlusives to seal everything in (such as silicones and argan oil) and they also act as a protective barrier against things like humidity (bye bye frizzy hair). The only problem with silicones is that some are hard to get out the hair, but if you use an appropriate shampoo once in a while (one with sulfates works very well), you will prevent too much build up from happening. But don’t be scared by it, because it’s that build up that protects you hair and makes it look amazing. It won’t damage your hair in the long term, just make sure to use a silicon free shampoo that clarifies the hair once in a while. So yeah, I loved this product. The only downside is the smell. A lot of people love it and I agree that it’s not bad, it’s very fresh and salon-y. But I don’t like my hair smelling hair products too much. It’s not very strong however, so I’m okay about it. I'm a very picky person when it comes to my hair and the products that I use. Most of the products that I have used in the past (even if they're raved about) end up drying out my hair making it very brittle or dull. I have very very curly hair and it's very thick and long so I have to use multiple products to keep my hair tame, soft healthy, and smooth. That includes using multiple hair masks ( I'm a pro multi masker lol) in order to make sure the products spread evenly and two that I get the best results for hydration and strength. This treatment surprised me a bit given how small the bottle is. I started by shampooing per directions. I then, separated my hair into 6 and started with one pump on each section starting from mid shaft to ends then repeated the process with my roots (I used a few extra pumps) then waited 4 minutes. The texture of this particular product surprised me because it's not something I would normally use on my hair it is a cream but it didn't have any slip (so I thought), And it didn't feel thick enough. But within those four minutes my hair was smoother softer and shinier I was very surprised at how soft it felt and how my hair didn't tangle up (which would have normally happened had I used a product with no slip.) due to all the manipulation. With that being said there are a couple of drawbacks with the product. One: the price for the size is a little dicey to me, like I would hesitate greatly buying this product once I run out and hesitate recommending to someone who has as much hair as I do (quick explanation: my hair reaches a little past my waist when flat ironed and is very dense) especially since the directions state to use the product for the first four to six washes then 3-4 for aftercare/as needed/ upkeep. Two: When I used the product I said to myself that it smelled like rubbing alcohol. Then I read the ingredients and noticed that it had alcohol high on it. I'm not sure what denatured alcohol does but I'm hoping it doesn't dry my hair out with time. Okay, I do not normally write reviews but I kinda just have to about this product. To give some backstory, I was dumb and thought my hair was invincible and got into hair color. September 2021 was the first time I dyed my hair with box dye and my hair didn’t react at all. It was still extremely healthy and felt like my virgin hair. So I assumed my hair was a special case and could withstand anything… so, I decided to get creative with my hair and went absolutely crazy. After my first dye, from mid October 2021 – early February 2022, I bleached my hair 5 times, dyed my hair with 4 Arctic fox colors and 3 box dyes and one professional dye from Sally’s, used the homemade color remover method of dish soap, developer, baking soda and purple shampoo probably 20 times… if not more. It wasn’t until it was too late that I realized how dead and fried and destroyed my hair was. It was so bad that my hair would stick out straight in the air when I’d pick up a small section, rather than bouncing and falling down like healthy hair does. To fix my mistake, I tried to use MANY different deep masks, hair hyaluronic acid and olaplex and those barely made a dent in the damage I caused… so I bought the mini size of K-18 and just finished 5 washes with it (I probably have one more wash left but I was too excited to wait to write this review). After the first wash my hair felt exponentially better than it had since my first dye. And after my 5th wash, I can confidently say this product has totally saved my hair. Of course it’s not completely healed, but I’d say it’s 80% back to it’s “virgin” state. I’d say after a couple more washes it’ll be almost back to it’s completely healthy state. My hair is a couple inches from my shoulders but very dense so I have to section my hair into 2 sections and do 2 pumps for each one to feel properly coated. So normally I would keep a magical life changing hair treatment to myself but I’m literally dead from being in shock after using this product for the first time last night. I was wondering why I have never heard or seen anything about this product but found out it’s because it is brand new. Apparently research scientist from a US biological engineering department discovered this brand new breakthrough peptide strand that has never been used before in any hair product. Great product with good results. Capsules are medium size, they are easy to swallow. I suffered from severe hairloss after COVID. Maxi Hair vitamins helped me to see visible results at the end of the usage of the first bottle. Small thick hairs were visible and my hair got visibly longer and thicker (I dye my hair and I see how fast the hair grows during the month). The only thing that is not too convenient is that there are 4 capsules and the usage should be regularly split during the day. Sometimes it was difficult to follow but if followed, the results are really satisfying! And one more thing – do not worry if, when you go to the ladies room, the urine is coloured in yellow. I received this product free from Country Life and Influenster in exchange for my honest review. First impression? Nice clean packaging the bottle was glass which I liked and it looked good quality. After further use, the capsules were on the bigger side which was not my favorite but I liked that they didn’t smell fishy or weird (no scent unless you really stuck your nose in there). You do have to take these 4 times a day which is something to be mindful of and another thing I did not like. I had blond balayage done to my hair and that damaged it. I read the reviews about this product, most good and a mixture of bad. When I saw the bad reviews talking about hair snapping off, I thought it was just due to the persons hair being so damaged and thought I'd give it a try. Well my hair started snapping off, every single day, some pieces long and ranging to tiny specks of hair. I have had my hair damaged horribly in the past to the point it took forever to dry and leaving burnt coarse ends. My hair did have a few areas of burnt ends but not as severe as previous experiences. So I kept using the treatment products and it kept raining pieces of my hair throughout the day. I've never had this happen even with extremely damaged hair. Sure pieces broke off but nothing like this. When the pieces snapped initially I thought it was due to the damaged ends. But then it never stopped. Smooth bits about a quarter inch kept shedding off. I couldn't wear dark shirts without constantly wiping hair bits off of it. After about a month I believed the reviews and stopped using the products. My hair slowly started snapping off less and less but I'm not sure if it was because the majority was already gone. So now my hair is varied lengths and extremely thinned out due to the different lengths it broke off. I'm not saying this product isn't good or bad because a lot of people love it but I strongly suggest not using this product if you have bleach damage without consulting your hair stylist first or having a treatment of some type done professionally. Before getting my hair to the shade it is now, I had several appointments slowly lightening my hair over roughly 6 months with hair treatments in between to maintain the health. I was someone who used to think that nothing could actually repair the bonds of your hair from the inside, especially because it went against everything I ever learned in cosmetology school, but that was 30 years ago and technology has changed, the proof is in the chemistry. I completely clarified my hair and then started using only Olaplex products exclusively. I used the entire line as recommended for damaged hair for 4 months, including number one in my hair color touch ups, and now I am a firm believer that it really does repair bonds as they claim because there is no other explanation for the positive change in my mid back length, color treated, and highlighted hair. I went from dull hair that was always tangled and broke so easily, to much healthier, shiny, soft, full hair. Despite having a lot of hair, it's very fine and before Olaplex, I could never achieve fullness without using a ton of product which was counterproductive. Usually conditioners, treatments, and masks, would weigh my hair down, but not Olaplex, it gives me the natural fullness I want without any styling product or weighing my hair down. And their purple shampoo, I can't say enough good things about it either! It is super concentrated so you need only the tiniest bit for the best results and the fact that the other products help color last longer, you don't need to use it as often as other toning shampoos, but when they say leave it on no more than two minutes, they mean it! If you use too much or leave it in too long, it will tint your hair rather than just tone it. The only Olaplaex product I don't use is the oil. Other than that, they would have to pry Olaplex from my hands. I highly recommend the entire line and starting with completely clarified hair prior to starting and use Olaplex exclusively for a few months to achieve the best results. My hair had been thinning for some time and, after my first use of this product along with the same brand/line’s conditioner I saw a noticeable difference in how thick my hair looked. Unfortunately I did not take any photos of my hair at the start of product use — I wish I had! — and so I can’t speak to whether my hair looks thicker because hair grew or because this product just makes hair appear so. This was such a fun campaign to be in! There were FOUR full sized products that I got to try. I definitely felt I got a good sense of each product before writing my review. With that being said though, I honestly was not a fan of the shampoo. It’s not necessarily the product’s fault though because unless it was formulated for a dry scalp, there was no way I was going to be able use this long term. My hair didn’t feel drier the few of times I used this, but it also didn’t feel more moisturized either. It did look like it had a tad more volume, but that was probably in combination with the other products. It did smell really good (reminded me of a Bath and Body Works lotion. I’m super bummed about this shampoo. I read so many great reviews, and I found it at Walmart for a great price. So here we go — pros: it smells ANAZING. Like, super good. It kinda reminds me of Bath and Body Works sweet pea scent. And it’s sulfate free! Cons: It made my hair feel INCREDIBLY dry on the ends. Bad. And that was after the conditioner (plus rinsing with cold water). It also left a weird crunchy residue feeling on the top part of my hair, too. I made sure to rinse it all off as well, but it felt super weird on top when it started to dry. I’ll maybe use it one or two more times and then throw out the bottle. This product could work for you, though. I’ve read more good reviews than bad. I just personally haven’t had a good experience with it. Like, my hair was practically SCREAMING for hydration after using this product. I purchased this recently to soften and nourish my dry 4c hair and I was pleasantly surprised. A little goes a long way and it left my hair feeling rich, moisturised and manageable. It has a fluffy and buttery consistency. I bought this on the basis of all the positive reviews. I am so disappointed. I know things don't work for all hair types, but given what this is made from, and all the people with 4C hair who are raving about it, it should surely have worked on my 3A/B type hair, long with two curl types. It does absolutely nothing for my hair. Nothing. I washed my hair and used this and a sister product, and the following morning my hair was as dry as anything. Dryer than if I'd just washed and conditioned. Obviously it must relate to my hair type, as others have raved about it, but I just don't see why. Will stick to Cantu in future.
