Perhaps I applied it wrong or it disagreed with the shade of my hair but it made my hair appear greasy. Dont get me wrong it made my hair very mouldable and gave it lots of staying power but Id have to find something to apply on top to reduce the sheen. As a man, I've used this product for years along with a hair and scalp conditioner. Together, the two products give my hair a nice sheen and manageable wave patterns. I've experimented by withholding the Sportin Waves for a day and the results weren't as expected. Much better when it's applied to the hair following the addition of a hair and scalp conditioner. There was barely any noticeable smell to the Sportin Waves when sniffed from the container and none when applied to the hair. Both products washed out easily while showering. I do recommend this product.

I am comparing this product to the discontinued Matrix Shaping Oil Cream – my all time favourite product. I have short, thick, coarse hair and let’s start by the smell – it is absolutely divine. The product is smooth and easy to apply with the pump and leaves my hair feeling soft all day with a lovely shine to it. Downside, I am finding I am using more than what I actually need to control the fine stray hair strands that make it seem I have a halo!!! Would make travelling difficult as you will need to decant product into a leak proof container. As all other Moroccanoil products, this has a great and lasting scent. I'm not entirely sure the point of this product, but I apply it to my hair after showering and it definitely makes my hair a little more manageable. This is my first time trying the Cantu Taming Gel. It has a thicker consistency to it. The container states this is good for Type 4 Curls but is effective on all hair curl types. My hair texture is not the same all over. It is wavy in some sections and course in others. When I apply this gel it works well on my hair to keep the curls in place. My child has a different hair texture than mine. It works really well for both of us. The scent is really delightful. My teenage daughter loves this gel. She uses it every day. She combs her hair one way every day. I have to be buying different gels for her every month. She never seem to find the right one. Every single gel has an issue. It is either too sticky, leaves flakes, too dark etc. She used this for about a week and decided that this is the one. She told me that she only wants me to get her this gel. She said that it doesn’t weigh her hair down , it has a light yet fabulous scent. She also said alittle goes a very long way. I've been using this product for about 20yrs and to tell the truth, it's more for coarse hair. You only need a little to start off with and only need to use probably twice a week(the beginning and probably the end.) My wife bought this for me, instead of my usual hair product. I was wary of using it when it sat, rock hard, in the bottom of the container. I massaged a small amount from the tin and began to 'soften' in my hands. After some time it yielded enough to apply to my hair. The product does not apply evenly, it looked awful, greasy and unclean. Very unhappy with appearance I tried, unsuccessfully, to wash the stuff from my very sticky hands. Such was the resistance this stuff has to soap and water I had, in the end, to use a combination of washing up liquid, a scrubbing brush and a pan shiner to get my hands free of this awful, awful compound. I have now just washed my hair removal times in the shower, and I can confirm it is just as resistant on one's Barnet! On the plus side, I'm guessing it will quite effective at sealing the electrics on my motorcycle and preventing the ingress of water. DON'T BOTHER WITH THIS…Sean E

Flax seed really helps my hair retain its curl shape, the large jar helped me explore different styling techniques to see what works best with my hair and the price helped me feel better about re-styling failed experiment days vs conserving pricy product; which let’s face it, there’s a lot of fails in the beginning for curlies lol. Before i had my hair bleached by my wonderful long time hair stylist, i used the brand mondo wave tech foam for my natural curly hair. So after having my hair bleached by my stylist i had no issue or second thought to order the wave tech hydration foam. It did not go well. My hair clumped together badly, and became extremely knotted again, after using the xmondo toner shampoo. Fast forward to trying to brush it when it was dry. I had horrible sticky caked product on my scalp, hair, and in my detangling brush. Horrible to feel how sticky and caked my hair was. Great product. Soft and easy to spread through the hair. Have had many hair products and have found this to be the best by far. I put it in dry hair and it shapes it really well and has a good hold. It smells like an aerobar, which I loved at first, but can tend to be overpowering sometimes. It let off a good aroma in the car when you have it on. Leaves the smell on your pillow as well. This has been a godsend for me personally. It's also the only oil I've consistently repurchased. A little goes a long way so the large bottle lasts quite a while. First, let’s talk initially how gorgeous this packaging is because I think we need to take a moment to appreciate it 😍 Initially as I opened the product the entire cap came off and I was wondering how to properly apply this product. I had no idea there was actually a pump because it’s hard to tell and you end up taking the entire cap off. After reading other reviews apparently I’m not the only one this has happened too. Not sure why that happens but it is alittle off putting however if you just pull up on the cap a pump is included for the product to be dispensed, I absolutely love the smell! It smells so good and is heavily scented if that’s not your thing. I used this on my hair two different ways. I applied it to mostly the ends when it was wet after a shower which I didn’t really like the way it made my hair feel. It didn’t feel like it was absorbing into my hair. I also used it dry on the ends and to help flyaways stay down as it was dry and I was blow drying and straightening. I didn’t notice any long term improvement to my hair after using this product but it does smell amazing and keep my frizz at bay. I have curly hair with lots of damage and I definitely need a good oil. I prefer a leave in conditioner but I definitely think a oil has a place in a hair care routine as well. For the price I probably wouldn’t repurchase this product but I definitely want to try other products from this company. I got this in a set with the Oribe Gold Lust Shampoo and Conditioner. I really do love the set and feel that they work as a whole to keep my hair silky. I have bleached hair and when using other hair care brands I feel like my hair feels very dry. With Oribe products, my hair feels healthy and rarely gets tangled unlike when using other brands. I tested out Briogeo's be gentle be kind set in the Banana scent and it not only did it dry out my hair, it also gave me A LOT of dandruff. Keep in mind that I have never once noticed dandruff in my hair before using Briogeo. Switched back to Oribe and my hair is as healthy as ever! No dandruff in sight.laura.c

First of all dont let my rating disappoint you on the shampoo. Ive been buying at my salon and due to current restrictions felt guilty asking for it to be delivered again. Probably one of the best purple shampoos you can find. I dont have blonde hair and never have. I have pitch black hair but use this for shine and let me tell you it adds shine. And I love the smell, of all milkshake products absolutely love it. Does wonders to blonde hair is well as the purple is super pigmented. Would recommend using in conjunction with a moisturizing shampoo as it may cause dandruff andor, especially in people with dry scalps. I have natural blonde hair and tend to add brown lowlights occasionally. Once I try to go back to natural my hair always tends to look brassy then orange. This stuff is the best I have found to take the brass out It will stain my nail beds so I use gloves but its worth the extra trouble. I received this product complimentary from Bumble and bumble. This is such a wonderful oil that is perfect for my long, wavy and frizzy hair. I spray a small amount onto my damp or dry hair and work it with my fingers into my hair. It has such nice clear smooth texture and a beautiful clean scent. It absorbs quickly into my hair without weighing my hair down. I then style my hair. After just one use my frizzy hair that is prone to damage, split ends and breakage looked so much better. I love this hair oil! I have extremely bleached and colored hair, so hair oil is my everyday essential. I have been using one of the big brands for years and never met any oil that can replace it until I found this Bb Invisible Oil. I like that its plumped design so it's easy to use without making a mess. The scent is light coconut. I love this product, it's the only hair oil I have used that doesn't make my hair look greasy, it's really lightweight and I love the smell. My first bottle has lasted me over a year as a little goes a long way (I only use on wet hair, usually every other day), so although it's not cheap I think the price is good considering how often I'll be replacing it! I do think it reduces frizz, it doesn't 100% get rid of it for me, but it's definitely better with this oil rather than without and it gives my hair a healthy shine. My only criticism is that I wish there was a lid, when I travel with it I have to put it in a sandwich bag as I have previously left it loose in my wash bag only to have everything covered in oil as the pump has accidentally been pushed down whilst in the bag. I just ordered a new bottle and some has even leaked into the package it came in, not a lot, but this would be completely solved if it had a lid.
