Best Vacuum Mop Combo For Vinyl Plank Flooring (2023 Update)

I bought a Bissell crosswave cordless max last year for Christmas because this was sold out. Originally I wanted this I did a lot of research and thought the Tineco one was far more advanced considering they had come out at the same time. My Bissell broke and again it hasn't even been a year I did not buy the warranty for it because I thought it would at least last a year. But I decided I'd buy my original choice and I'm far from disappointed. The issues I had with the Bissell I don't with this. Bissell was bad at streaking and would leave a puddle of water behind the brush roller was so soft it wouldn't pick up dried messes larger food bits would be pushed in front of the Bissell instead of being picked up. The Tineco one is streak free has a studier brush roller that makes picks up dried messes easily it is an auto mode machine so it distributes water and detects water never leaves a puddle behind large food objects like dog kibble gets picked up easily. I have a fairly high number of animals and a senior dog who doesn't have 100% bladder control so these machines are used day in day out. I recommend this to anyone its perfect for everyday use light to heavy messes.Alysun Lusty

I chose this thanks to the Vacuum Wars youtube channel. We used to have a Bissell Crosswave but it didn't last long at all. It started to smell pretty quickly and got clogged a lot (dog hair gang!) I assumed it was our habits so we bought a second one and the same thing happened again, even with more vacuuming and better Crosswave cleaning habits. This time I decided the extra money would be worth it and so far it definitely has been! The only con so far: the clean water tank really should be larger. We have a medium house, nothing large or fancy, and we can't even get through a full room (kitchen especially) without refilling the tank.Cam

Overall: I really love it! Easy to use, quick and sufficient; Great for daily use & for family with pet. I do list detailed limitations below but it solves my biggest problem (a quick daily cleanning) so I am still happy. Pros: – Battery is sufficient for 800-900 sq.ft – Capture pet (cat) hair, dust, and small trash on floor; great for daily clean; – Its design makes it easy to move; – Less noisy compared to Roomba/regular vacuum (but still not quite; just relatively quieter) ; Limitations: – The clean water tank is kind of small; requires refill if you use max clean mode or have a slower cleanning process; For dirty water tank, it's enough for cleanning process but usually require to dump all dirty water before its self-clean (so it does not over the dirty water limit) – It has clean gap (about 3cm/1.2 in) on the edge that its brush cannot reach so cannot work for near kitchen cabinet cleanning; also its wide brush design makes it hard to go into corners near toilet; – Its brush is designed not to hurt flooring which means it also cannot do deep cleanning (e.g. clean out stains on tile grout) – Cleaning dirty water tank can be nasty if you have pet and long hair;Ali

Everyday messes are definitely a regular occurrence in our home, and I'm usually left with three options: Lug out the large vacuum, and haul it from room-to-room, changing outlets every few minutes; hunch over with my dust-buster for 20 minutes (which is not kind to my neck and back); or leave the mess until later. We are going to order the brush specifically made for carpets and try that out and see how that works and also some little tips. . Run the clean cycle after every use . I've tested a decent amount of vacuums over the last decade. This is the first one I've tested that was made for hard surfaces and I was excited to get it mostly for my wife who always uses whatever other vacuum on our hard floors almost interchangeably as our carpeted areas. While I normally would sweep hard floors and them vacuum up the pile or let our robot vacuum with mop attachment do all the work for me. Setup was a little overwhelming looking at first but not too bad. The whole thing comes in more pieces than I would normally expect to find but the instructions lay out what everything is pretty nicely and after the initial shock it wasn't too hard to figure it out. I put it all together and let it charge over night (it suggests at least 4-5 hours of charge time before the initial use). I'm pretty happy with the steps required to actually use this vacuum. It's mostly a supplement to our robot vacuum/mop. I'm happy with the robot but we usually go around the are and pick up/move everything off of the floor in the entire upstairs before we run it so it's a process. It does a good job but the setup and reconstruction of the area before running it makes us use it far less than I'd like. So having a vacuum that's made for sweeping and mopping that I can easily setup and break down is key. When you want to use this, just fill up the clean water tank with mostly water and a small cap-full of soap. Then you're ready to go. The first time I hit the power button, I was surprised as it kind of drives itself forward. Pretty nice to lighten the load but you're also fighting against that push when your pull the vacuum back again. Overall it was a nice little assist, I think. The vacuum and mop did a pretty nice job of cleaning the floor pretty quickly but it did require an empty and refill of the tanks before I was finished. That doesn't take too long so it was no big deal. After I was done doing the whole upstairs area, the battery still had about 60% left (I was worried because when I first started it up, it looked like the battery was draining very quickly). The nice thing about having a screen with all the information on it is that you can see at a glance how hard the vacuum is working and what battery level is remaining. After you're done the instructions recommend you clean the dirty and clean water tanks as well as the roller and roller protector after each use. This is the only annoying part since you can't really just grab the vacuum to do a quick job and put it back but the cleanup of these things doesn't take too long. The base station does include an auto-clean feature for the roller so you have that going for you and there were 2 additional rollers included with this vacuum so you can always just rotate them if you need to clean one. Apparently there's an app that goes with this vacuum. The instructions just said that you can "perform all functions from the app" but I don't really know what functions those are. I did not download the app and can't imagine what I would possibly need it for. The functions on the vacuum are very minimal and can be adjusted with just a few pushes of the 3 buttons on the vacuum. I just didn't want another app on my phone. The only weird thing I didn't love about this vacuum was how it sat on the charging station. It leans forward quite a bit for some reason. I would expect it to just sit straight up and down but when the head is locked and you place it on the charger the handle leans forward at what feels like a 30 degree angle. Far more than you'd expect. Enough that I thought I was doing something wrong. I couldn't figure out a better way to place it on the charger though so I'm going to assume it's just how it was designed. I got used to it quickly enough but it was a weird thing when I first saw it. Overall, I like the vacuum. It does a good job supplementing our robot vacuum by being easy to get up and running and being easy to break down and clean when we're done (while not needing to break down the entire upstairs before using it since we can move things while vacuuming). I will attach some pictures to see what comes in the box and it’s pretty straight forward plug and play kind of situation as well with some before and after situation. Everything is very intuitive to use but you can check the book or type the name of it on youtube and they have an interactive video in how to use it for first time. It comes with 2 extra brushes and an extra filter that will come in handy when you’ll wash and let dry the ones that you’ll be using first(about 24hrs) they recommended doing that after each use and you’ll want to do that and don’t forget to empty the messy water each time so u prevent bad odors. The design and features are very modern … it has a voice and a screen that will assist you in your cleaning process. To be mentioned here is the feature that senses the proportion of a mess when on auto and turns gradually the blue light into a red one, sign that you should insist in that particular area till becomes completely blue and it’s scary accurate!!! The stand acts like a support and charger (which will take somewhere 3-4hrs for it to be fully juiced up). They also recommend using ONLY Tineco cleaning solution or just plain water. I totally underestimated this machine. When I turned it on, the brush kicked in and almost dragged me acoss the floor! Not really, but I was surprised by how powerful the brush was for such a compact package. This mop is no joke. I'm a busy and stressed-out professional, so lots of housekeeping chores don't get done on a regular basis. I've been meaning to clean the kitchen floor for quite a while — I had food and coffee spills, tracked mud, etc, on the floor in places, and serious grossness under the oven and fridge. I figured that I'd give this machine a workout. It really worked. It took several passes in some areas, but the machine just kept working at the mess until it was all clean. The dirty tank strains out the solid materials to make it easy to dump without clogging your sink. It also uses less water than I would expect, so I didn't have to dump the tank nearly as often as I thought I would have to. The clean tank and the dirty tank have good capacity. One super thoughtful little detail is that both tanks have flat bottoms, so they can be put upright on the counter, and you don't have to lean them against anything like you do with other wet vacuums. I really like how it is as maneuverable as a light vacuum, it does a great job on hard floors and we can also use it on floor mats that aren't too thick. That brush-forward design really gets right up to edges and corners. It is very user-friendly. The display is large, bright and useful, and the voice prompts are really helpful. Even self-cleaning is super easy. I'm just not sure what benefits you get from the app or its wifi connection.Snarltoof

Over the years I’ve had the opportunity to try several robot vacuums, but nothing has come close to the ECOVACS Robotics DEEBOT X1 OMNI Robot Vacuum & Mop. This unit offers so many features and outperforms all previous units and it also includes a mop feature! What’s in the box: – DEEBOT X1 OMNI vacuum and mop robot – OMNI auto-emptying and auto-cleaning station – Extra dust bag – Extra pair of mopping pads – Cleaning brush – User manual When it arrived the size of the box was a little surprising, I was nervous about how big this robot might be. Once unboxed, it is actually a very manageable size for our home. We have a perfect spot in our family room for the base unit which provides access to all the hardwood and tile flooring on the main level. Setup: There are extensive instructions included (user manual) that are easy to follow and made the initial setup a breeze. Ecovacs has done an amazing job of simplifying the setup process for the non-technical user. Both the Deebot (vacuum) and the Omni station (base – instructions attached) require setup. The base needs to be plugged in and the clean water tank filled. The DEEBOT should be fully charged before initial use. The side brushes and mop pads can be installed at this point or left off for initial mapping of the required spaces. Once the area is mapped a 2D or 3D map is available, rooms can be identified, and zones can be setup and customized as desired. There are numerous settings available based on user preferences. I've owned several robot vacuums and I can say nothing comes close to this Ecovacs robot. I've used it for a few days now and am completely blown away with how well this robot works and how dead simple Ecovacs made the whole process. Out of the box this thing is huge. I've had one other self emptying robot vac and the base station for the X1 dwarfs my old base station. This is largely due to the fact that this base station has two massive water tanks to fill and empty the robots on board water tank used to mop hard surfaces. The robot itself is sleek and feel sturdy and very high quality. Packed with every feature imaginable, this robot really is the most advanced smart home device I've ever used. Setting the Robot up was so simple. I followed the instructions in the app, plugged in the base station, connected to wifi and used Ecovacs built in voice assistant "He Yikko" to tell the vacuum to get started. It then made it's way around my house quickly mapping out the entire house room by room. Gone are the days where you have to wait through several full vacuum cycles to get a map of your house. Within 15 minutes the app was updated with an almost perfect map of my house, it even recognized the toilet in the bathroom. After getting the map of the house, I popped on the mop brushes and sent the vac on its way cleaning my house. There were a few things I was really surprised with. The first being how quickly it made its way around my house. It was considerably faster than my old robot and still cleaned just as well if not better. The second was the X1's ability to identify changes in the floor. When you have the mop brushes on the X1 easily identifies transitions to rugs or carpets and knows not to go there and try to mop your carpet. I was also shocked at just how well it cleaned after its first full run. The first run the X1 wandered around finding every wall and moving in what fell like no logical way. But at the end it did clean the house. But every time after that this thing moved like a well oiled machine, starting at the back of the house and moving room by room making straight lines through the whole floor. I will say my floors have not looked this good in a long time. I decided to really test out the X1 by starting it without cleaning up the shoes and toys my kids left all over the house and not opening all the doors all the way. I was again shocked to watch the X1 roam through the house, dodging socks and dolls and finding its way through a half opened door to go about its business. It really only tripped up once by sucking up a white barbie dress, which to be honest is understandable. I've learned the X1's base water tank will last about 4 cycles of mopping by about 1000 sq ft of hardwood, which seems very nice. Emptying the dirty water is quick and simple and man was it full of dirty water. I have no doubt this think is cleaning after looking at the water. It really is a start and forget kind of robot that will do everything you need it to and exceed all your expectations. But the fun doesn't stop at mopping and vacuuming. The X1 has a few other little features that just add to the fun. The first being the build in voice assistant. I wasn't expecting very much, since usually proprietary voice assistants don't work as well as Google or Alexa, but this this is pretty cool. It's faster to respond than any assistant I've used and works great for getting the X1 started and has fun little features like yelling at your X1 to come clean by your feet. There is also a built in camera and speaker on the front of the X1 that lets you use the X1 like a sentry if you want it to roam your house to keep an eye on things while you are away. It's an interesting feature and a neat little addition. I can't say I've gotten a ton of use out of it, but how cool is that my vacuum has a camera. Really the only thing I had any problems with was I wanted to put cleaning solution in the water used to mop, but Ecovacs recommends you only use it's cleaning solution. Only problem is, I can't find anywhere that the cleaning solution is sold. It's not even available on Ecovacs website, which is really strange. Overall, this thing has it all. I don't think you'll find a more advanced robot vacuum, which makes sense given this things price tag. If you have the space for the massive base station, I will say you won't be disapointed.Clshipp91

SETUP/MAPPING It comes with the Deebot X1 Omni vacuum/mop robot with a plethora of sensors, two side brushes, a “floating” main brush, three wheels, and mop system attachment with pads. The top is magnetic which grants you access to the on/off switch and a cute little bagless bin that can hold 0.1 gallons with a reusable washable filter that empties automatically when the vacuum goes back to the station or manually if you want to go back to that peasant lifestyle. The Omni auto-emptying and auto-cleaning Station is large compared to other bases. As it houses a clean water tub, dirty water tub, a cleaning brush, an extra pair of mop pads, and a 3L disposable dust bag. The power cord is removeable and has a place to wrap it on the back for cable management. Both the vacuum and the base feel well built, solid, and high quality. Each of the tubs has thick plastic with rubber textured handles. Everything opens and closes easily. Along with sliding in and out of place smoothly. You can tell a TON of engineering went into every single aspect of this device. Replacement parts aren’t too expensive either which is good. They report an overall run time of 140 minutes. Which I found to be accurate on stock settings. But if you increase the suction power it is a lot less. If you run out of battery mid clean it will return to the dock, charge a bit, and then resume cleaning. They report it takes 6.5 hours to charge fully. Which is a long time, but they likely chose that to maximize the life of the battery. They say it has a max decibel range of 68 dB. I found on stock settings it was close to 50 – 60 dB and would imagine going to maximum suction would be between 60 – 68 dB. On the lid of the base, it gives you instructions on how to get started. Which pretty much says unbox everything and scan the QR which takes you to the Ecovacs HomeVac App which then walks you thought the rest of the process. Which is pairing your robot, connecting it to the internet, and doing the initial mapping that you can see in real time. They report that it uses True Mapping 2.0 which scans the home environment, quickly generates a map, plans the most efficient cleaning paths, and they guarantee less missed and repeated spots. Which I found to be accurate. Once the initial mapping was done, I fine-tuned it by adjusting my house walls, combining some rooms, labeled them, and made a few software barriers. Such as my stairs. It treats that barrier as a wall, and I haven’t had an issue with it. Overall setup time was about 30 – 40 minutes. VOICE CONTROLS: The Voice Control supports Alexa and Google Assistant. But also has a unique one called Yiko. Which you can access by saying “Ok, Yiko” and then a plethora of commands such as “begin cleaning”, “stop”, “return to dock”, “what are you doing”, “clean x”, “mop x”, “clean under table”, etc. You can say “I’m here” and through sound localization tech it will seek you out and clean around you. All of which worked well just like any modern age smart assistant. However, the robotic voice can be improved as it doesn’t sound very good. You can increase/decrease the volume through commands or via the app. And it will call out when it is doing something which I LOVE. Such as starting a clean, returning to the base, emptying the bag, cleaning the mop pads, etc. Which I really like. As that way you aren’t left wondering. For those of you concerned about privacy voice commands are saved on a server which you can go in and delete in the app. You can also turn it off if you’d like. OBSTACLE AVOIDANCE: It uses something called AIVI 3D which utilizes AI computing power, astrophotography-grade RGB camera, LiDAR, dToF sensor, autopilot technology, and human recognition to identify and detect obstacles while scanning the home and creating paths to clean even in the dark. They do report that it works better in well-lit environments. Which I found to be true but did just fine in the dark. With all this tech it does a spectacular job at avoiding objects. On the extremely rare occurrence it did suck something up it shouldn’t have it would automatically turn off the brush, lift itself up, and try to vroom off. This worked every time without intervention. There are two protective bumpers on the front, and I found it rarely bumped into anything to activate them. Even when it did it was very mild making me unconcerned about damage to the vacuum or the thing it was being rude to. It never ran into me or my dog. When it detects an object (shoes, dog toys, clothes, cords, socks, etc.) it will clean around them with a minimal barrier (maybe an inch/inch and a half) and gets even closer around tables, chairs, or walls (maybe an inch or less). It never got stuck anywhere. During the initial mapping it shimmed itself into a small crevice under a bed that was barely big enough for it to fit, went exploring, and came out the other side full of dust with a story of adventure. Robot Vacuums – Ecovacs Deebot N8 Pro+ We recently decided it was time to add a new robot vac for the main house, due to a combination of new hardwood floors and a new labrador retriever. I have a neato from several years ago, but technology marches on, and neato is no longer the leader they once were. I looked at the iRobot Roombas, since they are the dominant brand, but felt that there were other options that were superior from both a performance and price perspective. I landed on the Deebot. It's smart, can empty itself, can return for charge and then resume the task, I can tell it what rooms to clean and in what order, and has a mopping attachment. It's not perfect, but it is pretty darn good.whysolonganickname

I purchased this vacuum/mop system to assist with making my life easier but the reality is it actually caused me more stress! PROS: quiet CONS: – constantly dropping wifi connection and when tried to restore via app it would get the entire way to the end of setup then throw an error code to start over – mapping feature is not accurate – not the best with picking up debris – have to add an accessory for the mop function and can only use water while mopping. I contacted the company regarding use of a cleaning product and was advised against it. – battery life not the best. The vacuum would constantly have to recharge before finishing and my space is not large. Overall I wanted to love this product because it is quieter vs my older robotic vacuum, however for the price I just could not justify keeping it due to all the reasons stated above. Like most folks these days I did some research before making this purchase. To be honest, there are so many robo vacuums both name brand named and unbrandes. This model is unique in that it both mops amd vacuums. Few actully do both. The price, comparitively speaking, is great compared to those that do leas amd cost twice as much. I am impressed with the job it does. Far above what i was hoping for. The mopping is amazing as well. The battery even lasts almost twice as long as advertised. I cannot think of a single negative attribute with this model. Im very pleased and will buy another when the time comes.MattMcG

This things is a life saver! Thankfully I purchased one, it helps where I don’t have to sweep as often. With dogs and kids it was just another chore and hassle . But I brought this vacuum and helps so much. It’s dumb at times and get stuck in corners, but I’ll be ok.amber.v

I loved how this valcume picked up. Wasn't impressed with the mop option. But I ended up returning it because the charger/ charging port started not working all the time. The return process has been horrible. First I had to wait for them to email me back, then was offered a discount if I used warranty and now its going to be 10 to 13 days to get my refund. If Wal-Mart is going to sale items on their page please back the product by allowing returns directly through you.laura

Just bought myself an early Christmas present, the crosswave pro pet multi surface vac/mop. Really amazing how it cleans up, you see/feel/smell the difference instantly. I have health issues so sweeping/mopping is a challenge for me and i needed an easy option that worked. I have multiple cats and this is amazing with cat fur/dried up hairballs/cat litter etc, the fact that it separates all the icky stuff from the clean water makes the biggest difference…you will be in shock how much gets ckeaned up. Now this beautiful household tool needs care in between using it but i like the finished product so much i don't mind the clean up after and still easier then sweeping and mopping with way better results, plus i just put it up on my counter for easy access for the clean up. Tips: 1) don't use with a wet filter, always put a dry filter in. 2) get a baby tooth brush to get in small crevasse. 3) sweep out corners or hard to reach spots into where it can be vacuumed because this machine cant get to them. 4) i didn't get cordless because i don't want to deal with future batterie issues (not saying it happens but more likely then a cord) put top of cord on hook as you vacuum, easier to control cord dosen't get in your way. 5) clean spray holes if needed with paper clip. 6) make sure if you are dumping dirty water or cleaning off in the sink you have a drajn catcher because pet fur and gunk gets everywhere, you'll see as you are clean everything off and dumping water out, don'twant that going down your drain. 7) go slow when spraying the water, give wet vac mop a chance to do its thing. 8) make sure everything is dry b4 you put back together so no mold or smells start to happen. Like i mentioned, if you take care of this it will continue to take care of your floors and rugs. Ps: Not paid to write this, just a regular human. I paid for my crosswave and i really love it. No love is as great as the first, as they say. I bought this last year but after taking it to a friends house and power washing and vacuuming their entire 2 bedroom apartment for 5 hours straight for 2 days in a row, i think i mightve found the breaking point of this product… Haha, so after it wouldnt turn on, i returned it. I ended up going through 3 other new vacuums and returned them all, only to repurchase this as the 5th one. As i mentioned in the previous review for the Bissell Proheat Duo Pet vacuum, this one here was the absolute perfect size for a 5'3 girl living in a small apt. Its great in smler spaces and even if the suction is not as powerful as the Proheat Duo vacuum, this one does a good enough job for the size and its ease of use cant be beat. Cleaning it is suuuuuuper easy, refilling the water is super easy, and all i gotta do is just press a maximum of 2 buttons. (Meanwhile the pro heat duo has me feeling like an airplane technician, after having to take out a bunch components to clean it which was NOT easy and having so many buttons!!!) Im a bit OCD with vacuuming my carpet all the time (every day) and im always very pleased with the carpet cleaning after i wash it. Overall its been the best model i have found for a Wet/Dry vacuum so i highly recommend if its for a 1 bedroom apt. My only gripes are that this is not easy to push!!! Also wish it could suction better when going BACKWARDS because it only suctions good moving forward but not if i pass over it backwards and if the suction would be stronger too. Love the fact that it vacuums and mops at the same time. It does not have a roller brush but a single stationary brush so you have to go over the same place once or twice (on carpet) but it does a great job.schakare

I purchased this vacuum back in May/June of 2021 and have had the last 6 months to really use this thing and put it to the test and honestly- I'm not impressed. I'm already way past the return window, so I just wanted to leave a review for others so people can know my personal experience. It doesn't have the suction to pull the cleaner/water out of any rugs or carpet I own. So, we are left with wet carpet for hours after using this. It also does not clean the floors properly with the brush. It's really just moving dirty water around while only sucking up a small fraction of what I have put down. There are dirty water streaks every time I use this to mop. When using the vacuum dry, the dust and hair clog up the filter within minutes and I have to empty it multiple times while vacuuming, even though the container itself is not nearly full. I have a long haired cat, and I myself have long hair. Neither of these things have agreed with this vacuum. If you have a cat and plan on vacuuming any cat litter with this- don't. It will become a large clay litter clump in the suction tube of the vacuum that you have to get out yourself. It will also leave nasty gray streaks of litter/water on the floor. Additionally, my fallen hair gets so tangled in the spinning brush that I have to cut it off. Honestly, that might not be avoidable or the fault of the vacuum. My hair also gets caught on the sides of the spinning brush and becomes an unmanageable mess that can't be removed. This was probably my worst "big purchase" of 2021. I got the Crosswave Max as a splurge birthday present. It has since been returned for the following reasons. It is NOT convenient. Have to assemble before each use, fill with water and their solution (cannot use just water for brush head reasons), then after use have to run the brush clean function and disassemble and clean all the other parts and let them dry. So you need a dedicated area for all this, just like a full on carpet cleaner. In all that time it takes to assemble and clean up after, I can bend over and pick up or sweep up any of my toddler's mess AND warm up and use my steam mop. Going back to the brush cleaning cycle, it does not do much to clean the brush. The brush remains dirty, discoloured, and unless you soak it in detergent for at least 30 minutes with a good rinse after (blue dish soap, or laundry soap, or their solution, etc), it will remain dirty and leaves a lot of streaks and milky film on the floor the next use. I have darker floors, so it looked disgusting after the wetness dried. I would have to use my steam mop after using the crosswave and the pad would be very gross after, but atleast the floors would finally look good. It's also a slow machine to use. You basically wet the floor area going slowly so it's evenly wet and then have to go over it several times to try to dry it as much as possible. You have to do this section by section. It would take much too long to do only my kitchen, where I could sweep or vacuum and mop it in half the time. This machine is a great idea in theory, but it is not convenient or efficient and left my floors dirtier than before using it. The company states the brushes need to be replaced after ten hours of use (I did not use it nearly that long and the brush heads were awful after a short time) and they are not cheap to replace. I bought a Bissell crosswave cordless max last year for Christmas because this was sold out. Originally I wanted this I did a lot of research and thought the Tineco one was far more advanced considering they had come out at the same time. My Bissell broke and again it hasn't even been a year I did not buy the warranty for it because I thought it would at least last a year. But I decided I'd buy my original choice and I'm far from disappointed. The issues I had with the Bissell I don't with this. Bissell was bad at streaking and would leave a puddle of water behind the brush roller was so soft it wouldn't pick up dried messes larger food bits would be pushed in front of the Bissell instead of being picked up. The Tineco one is streak free has a studier brush roller that makes picks up dried messes easily it is an auto mode machine so it distributes water and detects water never leaves a puddle behind large food objects like dog kibble gets picked up easily. I have a fairly high number of animals and a senior dog who doesn't have 100% bladder control so these machines are used day in day out. I recommend this to anyone its perfect for everyday use light to heavy messes.Alysun Lusty

I chose this thanks to the Vacuum Wars youtube channel. We used to have a Bissell Crosswave but it didn't last long at all. It started to smell pretty quickly and got clogged a lot (dog hair gang!) I assumed it was our habits so we bought a second one and the same thing happened again, even with more vacuuming and better Crosswave cleaning habits. This time I decided the extra money would be worth it and so far it definitely has been! The only con so far: the clean water tank really should be larger. We have a medium house, nothing large or fancy, and we can't even get through a full room (kitchen especially) without refilling the tank.Cam

Overall: I really love it! Easy to use, quick and sufficient; Great for daily use & for family with pet. I do list detailed limitations below but it solves my biggest problem (a quick daily cleanning) so I am still happy. Pros: – Battery is sufficient for 800-900 sq.ft – Capture pet (cat) hair, dust, and small trash on floor; great for daily clean; – Its design makes it easy to move; – Less noisy compared to Roomba/regular vacuum (but still not quite; just relatively quieter) ; Limitations: – The clean water tank is kind of small; requires refill if you use max clean mode or have a slower cleanning process; For dirty water tank, it's enough for cleanning process but usually require to dump all dirty water before its self-clean (so it does not over the dirty water limit) – It has clean gap (about 3cm/1.2 in) on the edge that its brush cannot reach so cannot work for near kitchen cabinet cleanning; also its wide brush design makes it hard to go into corners near toilet; – Its brush is designed not to hurt flooring which means it also cannot do deep cleanning (e.g. clean out stains on tile grout) – Cleaning dirty water tank can be nasty if you have pet and long hair;Ali

The concept of this mop is excellent. In order to offer a thorough review I am going to break it down into cons and pros. Pros: 1. Dual tanks: As opposed to other mops, like the Spinwave mop, this mop comes with dual tanks. This idea is great because there is a tank with clean water continuosly providing water to the roller while the other tank collects the dirty water created as the mop cleans your floor. This is a major plus because you are no longer spreading the dirt all around your floors. 2. Three rollers: The fact that 3 rollers are included it makes it really easy to continue using this mop even if one roller is out of service because it's drying. 3. Light weight: The mop is light in weight and it's easy to maneuver throughout my hardwood floors. 4. Built-in Screen: It's nice to have a screen that displays the battery percent remaining as you mop the floors. As it goes down it kind of rushes you to finish the job. LOL 5. Mop and vacuum cleaner combined: This thing can mop and vacuum at the same time. It's great if you want to go straight into mopping without vacuuming. Down side to this is that you will have to clean the dirty water tank and it's not fun. Cons: 1. Price: At $400, I think this mop is too expensive. I was lucky enough to get it when it was on sale for a fraction of the cost. At the price point I bought it, it's a steal. 2. Edges cannot be mopped: This mop will not be able to mop the edges around your house due to how the mop was designed. It leaves about 1 cm or 2 of the hardwood unmopped. I haven't seen a real issue with this but I know some people get upset about this. I have a Roomba J7+ that vacuums the edges real well so I am not really worried about it. Plus, the edges do not get really dirty, it's not a high traffic area. 3. Small tanks: While the concept of dual tanks is awesome, their size is really not. If you are planning to mop around 1,500 Sq. Ft at a time you may have to refill the clean water tank and also discard the water in the dirty water tank at least once. 4. Cleaning the dirty water tank: This mop offers the dual feature of vacuuming and mopping all at once. It's great if you don't want to vacuum before mopping but just keep in mind that YOU will be the one responsible for cleaning the dirty water tank. The tank can get really nasty and you may not like what you see. Thankfully I have a Roomba and I always let it vacuum first before I mop. 5. Battery life: I put this as a con because the battery only lasts for about 35 minutes. If you are wanting to mop a house that is 2,500 Sq. Ft or higher you have to take a long break to let this thing charge again. I would definitely suggest this company to add a bigger battery or offer a fast charging station like Ego does. It would be nice to get back to cleaning within an hour as opposed to waiting for at least 5 full hours.Buenascompras

As someone who owns a home with mostly hardwood floors, small amounts of carpets, and a large number of rugs, I've definitely struggled to find the best and most versatile cleaning solutions. The Floor One S3 is the closest I've come yet to floor cleaning bliss. Things I liked about it: Tidy package with the dock, holds most of the parts and accessories, and you don't have to plug in to charge it, there are contacts in the dock that do this for you. Extra brush roller Self Cleaning mode when you dock Voice announcements for what it's doing as it cleans/changes modes iLoop tells you when it detects dirty floors Things I didn't like as much (Opportunities) HEAVY for it's size Battery life is shorter than expected for the size Auto Mode tends to use more water than I would expect Does this really need wifi? Clean water tank is even smaller/shorter use time than the battery life Doesn't sneak in under things as nimbly as you might hope Voice announcements will definitely need to be shut off, or at least reduced in volume This vac-mop is quite hefty for it's somewhat compact looking size, and is definitely bottom weighted design. The cleaning power and abilities are the best I've seen yet from a vac mop, and I have been zipping it out just to have the satisfaction of cleaning up a particular mess or dust bunny. On the flip side, I feel like I can watch the battery level drop by the second as I use it, and it doesn't quite do my entire main floor of hardwood/tile. The clean water tank seems like I'm constantly filling it. Reading the manual is NOT optional, as you need to know how often to manually clean what. The iLoop display is informative, and I found I was able to charge it up and start using it immediately. I love it, I'm not going back, also I'll keep waiting or the perfect solution, but until then, I'm using this one.dronedad

The Tineco = Floor One S3 Extreme Wet/Dry Hard Floor Cordless Vacuum impressed us both on its very first use. The assembly amounts to snapping the handle into place and putting the clean water tank into place. and that's it! The loop on the handle points forward and where you put it in the machine has a matching groove for the little protrusion on the handle bottom front side so you can't put it on wrong. Plug it in to charge up, add one capful of the enclosed Tineco cleaning/disinfecting solution and go read the book while it charges. It talks to you! Letting you know what its doing or that you need to do to it and its display ring turns from red to blue as to let you know the area that you are cleaning is clean. The voice assist can be turned off if not desired at the time or not desired at all. It's really lightweight and relatively quiet and on normal dirt and dust days it is even self – cleaning.! Just put it back in the charging base and hit the self – cleaning button and it cleans the roller for you. Of course you still have to dump and clean the dirty water tank and filter yourself. And speaking of dirty water we were very surprised at exactly how dirty the water was. I dry mop daily and wet mop when it needs it or at least every other week but the Tineco picked up so much more than that method. It left us with very clean, mopped and vacuumed and shiny vinal and sealed hardwood floors in the time it takes to vacuum only otherwise. Now after a big mess such as spaghetti'o's or something you may have to manually clean the tank and roller but that is an easy task as well. Personally we will generally clean up major messes with paper towels before attempting to use this or anything else before we had this. It can also be used in suction mode only where needed or required. I just purchased this product and have used it one time. Set up was a breeze and it charged quickly. The vacuum works very well. I have Pergo floors in light oak, so they don't show dust, but do show dirt and debris. The vacuum had no problem with any of it, including onion skin. The mop part works well as a cleaner. I have some dried on liquids it would not remove, but neither would my Swiffer, which this replaces. But the problem is, the cleaning fluid, once dry, leaves a filmy residue that dulls the Pergo. Under the right lighting, you can see where the liquid was and where it wasn't. I tried buffing it to no avail. It remains to be seen if walking on the floor with buff it out. So as a vacuum and mop, it works. But that residue from the cleaning fluid is barely acceptable. Your results may be different. But I'll be keeping it because if does the job and I will use it more often just for the vacuum. I may forego the mop.lochnez49

I got this in hopes of making it easier to clean my floors with something that is an all in one. But I will be returning it. It is nothing more than a glorified swiffer. The pads are disposable. You even need a pad to do the vacuuming and you can only vacuum in one direction because that's where the suction is. So it takes twice as long. Then the pad is extremely dirty afterwards and you're supposedly supposed to use the same one. Why would I use the dirty pad to then mop with? I wouldn't. So I had to use a new one. Once that pad is wet it begins to flop around and you have to apply pressure to get it to stay in place while mopping. Applying more pressure and holding the vacmop a certain way will in turn cause back pain. The compartment for the liquid also does not come off. So you need something to use in order to pour the water into it. Just bad overall execution on this. I would not recommend and I will be returning. I bought the mop system from my shop club which has reusable pads. Yes I will have to sweep or use my regular vacuum beforehand, but it will still take less time than fighting with the vacmop.Mindy Burnette

Very convenient to use these smart devices and a dual action mop and sweep is a plus.,The machine works and picks up dirt , however it lacks intelligence. It keeps on rotating in the same area forever. Even when I use the remote it keeps on turning back to where it wants. I basically fight and scream at this machine to stop rotating in the same place. It chooses corners and narrow spots to go under and then gets stuck and turns off. I sometimes forget the dogs water cup on the floor and there she goes to knock it off and spills water. Wires should be kept off the ground or it would devour them in a blink. I like this machine , but I wish it were a little smarter and not skipping the important areas and wanders as it like. It is still a better choice than mopping and sweeping on a daily basis .Sahar

This product has filled a hole in my life I didn't know I had. it works great. there is no app to mess with. There is a pretty good manual. set up is easy and it does everything I want it to. I was sweeping the house three times a day as we have no carpet to hide small dirt particles in. I was very opposed to getting a robotic vacuum for years. since working at home during the Pandemic the idea grew on me like a fungus. I didn't want to spend a fortune on something I probably wouldn't use much. I ordered this little Gem. as far as a vacuum it works great. it's really sucks, which is great when reviewing a vacuum. she moves effortlessly from room to room. she gets every spec of dust but she does take her time doing so. But you know what? It's her time. let her spend it doing what she was made to do as long as she likes. When done she goes back to her little place in the world to rest and recharge. I will say I removed a star due to the mopping feature. Don't get me wrong it works. and she does a pretty good job. but the patterns left behind on my laminate floors makes it look like Jackson Pollock programmed the mopping pattern. maybe she would do better on your floors. we do have to mop with the grain or every stroke shows up. The Bottom line is if you are contemplating getting a companion to sweep your floors this little girl is no joke. Works well with the remote to start and go back to dock. Have not had luck getting it to begin clean cycle on clock program, Probably because we use it in different rooms at different times and carry it to the room. Not everyone has wide open floor plan. It picks up pet hair and pieces of clay litter on hard surface floor. That is a huge assist! We like the Edge option if you want to have it go along the baseboards on hard floor surface especially in the high traffic areas such as the kitchen food prep area. It runs quietly. Advise to cleanse out tray after each use. The wet mop option works as well. May not need that every day unless you have tile you want wet mopped every day. You can find robot vacuums that are priced into $350.00 or more. They run on your phone program. But some reviews of those type indicate you’re opening your wifi and floor plan to other undesirable tracking elements. Comments and opinions are from a Robot Vac.newbie and not an expert. I received a brand new Bissell Crosswave HF3 Cordless Multi-Surface hard floor cleaner complimentary from BzzAgent in exchange for my honest review. First off I would like to say how simple this was to assemble. Right out of the box, I just had to firmly snap in the top handle to the bottom of the device until I heard a click. This is something anyone can easily put together quickly. I made sure to read the instructions manual a couple of times. Being cordless, the only downfall I discovered was how long it took to fully charge this device. 4.5 hours to fully charge it, and I got around 30 minutes of use before I had to charge it again. I love how simple it is to switch from low to high mode and the LED lighted indicators. I have hard wood flooring, as well as tile flooring at my house. This is ideal for anyone who doesn't have carpet flooring. The charge dock is very interesting because the device fits perfectly onto the dock and you plug in the adapter go the docking station. Then plug it into any normal outlet. This doesn't take up a lot of space and it makes my floors spotless. It will let me know when the battery is low with a blue flash light. This came with a very handy brush and strainer which makes it much easier and quicker to clean it. Not to mention it has a self cleaning mode. You have to recline the device in order for it to start working. I then select if I want low or high water flow and it automatically dispenses the fluid + water mix. Then I push it forward and backwards to get the job done. Being that this is cordless, I can get into places I normally can't reach unlike other machines I've owned before. Also I don't have to worry about any cords getting tangled or not reaching. For a nice deep clean, I used the high mode which you will see the liquid on the floor. This is suppose to happen. You want to let it soak in for at least five minutes before going over it. For really stuck on stains, I had to repeat this process a few times. This machine is lightweight and easy to maneuver. I definitely would recommend buying this Crosswave by Bissell! I am still learning how to use the machine after having a little over a week and I did watch a few videos on how to remove the brush roll. I also like how you put the solution and water in the top part and the dirty water dispenses on the bottom. I've had zero issues with this leaking. Also if you tend to have a lot of hair on the floor, make sure to check the brush roll so you can cut off any hair that has tangled on the roll. I do wish it came with an extra brush roll but that is ok because I can find parts for this very easily. Do not make the mistake of over filling the top water tank. There are two lines, one for the water and one for the Bissell solution. I love that this comes with a 18 month warranty. Do not forget to fill out the warranty card and mail it out or you won't have any warranty. Bissell has their own support team that you can either email or call with questions or concerns. The price of this machine is a little pricey, but after trying I definitely understand why. It actually works! So far so good.Redhdedgrl

As a mom of three, and dog owner, I was absolutely ecstatic to learn I was selected to review the CrossWave X7 Cordless Pet Pro vacuum through the Stellar Review Testing Panel. Everyday messes are definitely a regular occurrence in our home, and I'm usually left with three options: Lug out the large vacuum, and haul it from room-to-room, changing outlets every few minutes; hunch over with my dust-buster for 20 minutes (which is not kind to my neck and back); or leave the mess until later. As a neat-freak, the latter of the options is never my favorite, and I'm generally left either killing 20-30 minutes when I could be doing something more productive on top of becoming frustrated and left with a stiff neck. So, needless to say, when the option for a cordless stick vacuum (dedicated towards pets and kids), I was like a kid at Christmas. I love this product! The three settings make it easy to switch between our hardwood floors, area rugs, and there's a turbo setting that is great at getting those stubborn areas that can really use some extra attention. The product is lightweight, holds a charge (I can vacuum our entire home easily on one charge), and I've found it's a great alternative to throwing my rugs in the washing machine. We have quite a few area rugs throughout our home (all washable due to kids / pets), which is great – but they are a hassle to wash / dry, lay down properly after-the-fact. With the wet / dry function on the CrossWave, I can literally run the vacuum over my area rugs for 1-2 minutes, and when done, they look like they've just been washed. Pet hair, cereal, everyday messes are easy to clean up, and the product is easy to charge / set-up and use. If I had to review any negatives, it would be two features. First, hard to reach places (under furniture, and particularly stairs), aren't the easiest to clean. Second, the instructions point out to clean after every use (highly recommend or I've found there is an odor with use).designgal78

Just to start off this is a fantastic product. We bought some appliances so we got $400 best buy gift cards and i had a $55 certificate from best buy(which the online guy that was supposed to help us never applied still a lottle mad about that and its expired now but whatever). Did some research it was between this and the Tineco floor one S5 but we ended going with this because we do have a few rooms with carpets. The pros: .It can clean our house (roughly 2,000 sq ft) on one charge. .That turbo mode is WOW!! .Easy to maintain and clean .Very lightweight .it makes cleaning so much faster The cons: .Maybe its the formula we are using but it is extremely soapy but started using less and it works much better. .it doesnt get the carpets the best( we know ots for area rugs) but on turbo mode it will do a room full of carpet just wont pick up too much of the water but man does it pock up some stuff! .the dirty tank gets full quick The 4 star is mainly for the price of it it is a lot of money for what you get, but honestly we have no Rugrets not even one letter! We are going to order the brush specifically made for carpets and try that out and see how that works and also some little tips. . Run the clean cycle after every use . After you are done cleaning and ran the cycle and cleaned your equipment take off the roller and put it in the holder to let it dry .once a week (i tried doing it every day but its too much) do a nice deep clean of your machine if you take care of it, it will take care of you.Ivan
